does anyone know if coolant in your eye will hurt you?? (i got it in my eye)

just rinse well and you should be fine. I've gotten almost all automotive fluids in my mouth and eyes at one time or another.

Rinse well and if irritation persists, call your doctor.

Flush it and you'll be fine. I once blasted myself right in the eye with brake cleaner, and still seem to be able to see fine, so I doubt coolant is that bad.

all i know is if you get it in your mouth, just drink a lot of beer. it will help counter act the chemicals.(i work at a hospital)thats what we prescribe to people when they come in claiming they have swallowed fairly large amounts of coolant or oil. and trust me, it works. just dont work on your car after drinking the beer. you wouldnt wunna mess up something worse.

I've found that holding my eye open under a running faucet for 15 minutes is not only inconvenient, but much more irritating than any liquid I've ever gotten in my eye.

Coolant isn't that big of a deal. I've gotten gasoline in my eye and that burned like hell. Spent a good 20 minutes at the kitchen sink using the sprayer directly in my eye. Shit still burned afterwards and was red. Coolant....not a big deal. Its water and glycol

Coolant not a big deal?WTF LOL I'll be sure to not make a big deal out of it if it happens to me, seeing as its not a cause of concern...ROFL

Dont ask why, but when I was 9-10 yrs old I was shaking a 1galon gas can and i opened the purge vent and it instantly gushed in my face..LOL.. I thaught I was going to die!! And to make it worse, my dad said "well son, its time to put you in moms gas tank because thats what happens to little boy who play with gas"... I was like NOOOOOOOOO......LOL
TRUE STORY RIGHT THERE

the first good sign was that he could see well enough to post a thread on it... i second the eye pro though, i got tired of getting fluid and metal shavings in my eyes, eye pro will help you out a lot, though not fool proof...
