I would much rather make a donation to DSMTuners then pay for that book. This site has all the information you'd ever need. Take the money you'd spend on that (probably generic) book and make a donation to the site who deserves it.

Damn, he went to RRE. I think I'm gonna have to pick up one of those books since they talked to Garcia. Get all those little tid bits of information that would take hours to get out of them. And this way, they won't get annoyed with all the questions :thumb: haha

Might be a good read. Most info you find in that book I'm sure you'll find on these forums.

I think all the basics of the 4G63 have been covered in other books. This is a really simple engine to build and maintain. I look at this engine as the small block Chevy and Ford of the past.

So has anyone got this book, and if so what do you think about it?

I just ordered the book today, Amazon said that it will arrive near the end of January or the start of February. Usually I would not buy a book about a engine that I am already very knowledgeable of, but it was only $20 shipped and maybe I will learn something.

I received the book yesterday. I read the book and it is very good, much better than I expected. It covers the history of the 4g engines and about some cars that where powered by them. Lots of very good pictures and lots of very good information. I highly recommend that others buy this book. :thumb:

well what else could they show the valve cover on an evo IMO looks better than our gray ones with the red lettering and most people that would buy that book own evos because their daddy bought them one so daddy is going to buy them that book

That to me is a great book, lots of info that i was unaware, of really good purchase for 21 bucks for me. One of my favs been looking for one for my dsm. Good buy and cheap.

I also bought the book and loved it. it answered a lot of questions that i had before i made a fool of myself posting them here. the crossover parts from the evoos that he mentions are great as well as the 4G64 swap section.

i see it the same way, the 4G63 is basically the 350 of the import world...
