Helped my buddy jake (reaperGSX) finish up his gsx today, and he's more than likely coming to the meet. Where are all the Lafayette DSM's? It's not that far, you guys should make the trip! Let's get a few more cars over here!

heyyyy... yeah, Lafayette guys here. LOL. I haven't talked to "openoner" lately but I think his car is still a work in progress. There's one other guy that just got him a GST. If I see him at our local meets I'll let him know.

I am planning to go out there... I'll have to play it by ear with work. If i have that weekend off then i'll be there!

Oh yeah, i know... i'm trying to figure out how to prepay so I can get 10 dolla off my 3 pulls. I've been chatting with them. I'm hoping i can get the weekend off. I started lookin and I'll be on call that week. Dunno, we'll see.

Whatcha hoping for? I'm hoping for at least 200hp. It's doubtful, but I can hope. It would just be a baseline, plus it would be nice to know what kind of power my car is putting out.

well guys i just purchased a 90 talon tsi awd and when i get it running right and everything i will let you know so that way we can have a meet closer to me

I should be comming... I've been offshore since last thursday so I already made it known that i want off that weekend.

Hey guys I need some opinions/advice on a spring/shock setup for my 2G. I don't want to get coilovers at all. I've already read damn near everyone of the toipcs in the search but would like info from fellow Louisianaians. The roads are pretty much the same through out the state and don't wanna hear about other states bullsh*t. I would only like to drop my car about 1-1.5, that way I would need a camber kit.

I would go with KYB GR2's and some H&R OE springs. They do fit on AWD even though they're made for FWD. That is what I was going to go with for my suspension. New car feel with a 1inch drop.
My 2 cents.

Hey jake did you get another hood or is that photo shop.

LOL!!! You kill me bro... I had that hood on at SCR. I just never updated my pic since I
put it on.

I have Eibach springs and KYB AGX adjustable x4 up front and x8 in back. nice to have the soft for roads around here and i can tighten them up for the strip. Set at 2 they give a pretty deicent ride. Set at 8 you can feel every rock. ha ha. I have about a 1.5" drop but you may need the camber kit for the rear as I still do. When you get the alignment done, have them leave -1 degree of camber. Makes all the difference in handling and doesn't wear down tires.

No sh*t about that hood, I do remember it now. HA! I was thinking of going with the tokico illuminas and eibach prokit, what yall think bout that.

I do however like you idea mike. Also I had eibach coilovers with the KYB on my 1G.

I have a friend that has the illuminas but with the H&R Sport springs and he loves it. A nice drop, no sagging as of yet, and it is nice and stiff. A huge improvement, but of course every car is different. I don't think you can go wrong with the Illuminas and Prokit. Of course you can search and see what others have said about them.

I take a look at those springs and see. Yea I am leaning towards the illuminas and the prokit. It's well worth the money in my opinion. I let yall know once I decide what im doing. Then once I get them on and give you a update. I got to get some money of course. Ha!
