Well not sure if anyone will have the same post on this topic but out of ALL the mods you ever done to your motor, what would you say is the #1 mod your really happy with and a mod that you will never ever do again or ever buy again.

Could be your best part for the buck or just a mod that your not happy with

Worst: Buying a Greddy Type RS BOV... (wouldn't hold boost for shit)

Best: keydiver chip (by Jeff )
worst gm maf-t GenII and ACT Clutch

Best= Megan Racing full coilover's Worst= Modding the 1g PERIOD!!!

i Love the R&D exhaust. sounds nice and throaty.

Air fuel gauge waste of money.

Best: Going from stock SMIC to HRC SMIC + RRE UICP. Noticeable better low/midrange torque + incredible boost response. Spool from idle with T25.
Worst: BOV dump tube cut. Produced BOV flutter with 3000GT BOV which I had that time.

Best mod: probably either the exhaust or the 50 trim
Worst mod: cutting the dump tube off the intake. I changed to an ebay metal intake like a month later. waste of JB weld.

Best was dsmlink for sure, worst was my Forge BOV which needed to be repaired before it worked right

Best: Programming my own EPROM
Worst: Programming my own EPROM instead of waiting for Ostrich/DSMLink

Best= BC 272s
Worst= Useless narrow band that previous owner put in.

Best: home-made fuel system
Worst: Boost guage with no Vac (my fault)

Best: LC-1 WBO2 and Ostrich EPROM Emulator
Worst: MBC (I'm too greedy with boost)

Best =my whole car
worse=the turbo xs BOV.

Best: 16G turbo

Worst: SAFC.. it broken before I could even tune.

Best: E85
Worst: The cracked JMF SMIM that Tony Davis of OKC sold me..
SMIM is now repaired and should be awesome.

Best: FP3052 turbo
Worst: My Newly installed JM Fab intake manifold (because it whistles so loud...I can here if from my car from over 100 ft away....shit is loud and embarrasing)

Best--E85 all the way. Not really a mod but the best thing I have done to it by far.

Worst--Buying a maf-t/safc when I should have just got dsmlink. 1200cc injectors still running great on just maft/safc combo.

Best: BC stage 2 cams/megan coilovers for my 240sx
Worst: buying a 1G .

Best: Ebay 16G, beats the hell outa a T25 that wouldn't hold more than 11PSI
Worst: Blitz BOV, piece of shit leaked worse than the stock one. But it was free and I sold it for $60 .

Best:

E85 and DSMLink's ability to tune humongous injectors, which only cost a tiny bit more than a set of 550's.

Worst:

1) Ever attempting to fill stock motor mounts with Window Urethane. It take a week to do because you have to fill it in layers, it's a HUGE mess, and when you're all said and done you've spent almost the same as what Prothanes sell for on eBay.

2) Thinking I could build a working manual boost controller. I spent $12 on fittings, just over an hour making it, and I never installed it because it failed my bench tunability test. The window of adjustability was so narrow it never would've worked properly. I would've been better off buying an $8 MBC from eBay to get the same thing. There's a reason professionals build these things.

Best - Devils Own Progressive Water/Meth Injection ( eliminated knock and allowed me to up boost by ~ 7 PSI and tune for a 11.2 A/F ration on Pump Gas and no knock ( ~ 70 HP increase on Dyno!) Best HP bang for the buck, Period!

Worst - Greddy RS BOV - wouldn't blow off correctly and aggravated Off Boost Surge regardless of spring adjustment

Best- FP race manifold and Comp 272's. Pulls f***ing crazy now.
Worst- Greddy RS bov.
