I got the jitters waiting for D3 to come out, so I revived D2 and started a new PAL on battlenet. Currently working my way up at lvl27, anyone else out there? I could use some new gear

I thought they junked the project way back? If not, then I'm excited for it. After this, StarCraft 2 and then StarCraft: Ghost.

Haha I loved D2, it's too addicting though. About ever year or 2 me and my friend would really get into the game for a month or two. But It eventually gets boring when you have like 5 lvl 92+ chararcaters.

Oh BTW as much as I've been looking forward to D3, for like the last 7 years too.. I just know deep down they're going to mess it up somehow..

what class and build you going for? and you got LoD?

I recently started again. I have a 33 barb.

Im excited for d3 but Im not digging the graphics.

Yea I'm on ladder USEAST with a hammerdin with a little zeal. It's my first build, so I figured I'd go with a little bit of everything. Waiting for FoH to see if it's worth it. What boggles my mind is how people get to those higher levels! Do you keep playing the same act's over and over and over again?

Heh, i just started again too. I don't really even play video games anymore and this is the only one I have left. I'm on an internship so it gets pretty lonely away from all my college friends. Must have been a long time since you've played if you are wondering how people get that high of level.

get to level 20, then do normal cows until 24, then kill norm ancients, then do normal baal runs until level 45-50, then go to nightmare and do baal runs from 50-75, then go to hell and do baal runs from 80+ ..

or G rush to hell and chaos or uber level.. Depending on which you do you can be level 90 in about an hour..

God I sound like a nerd...

I use to love playing D2, my Zon pwned , i stopped playing right around the last patch came out... i thnk.. right after the uber's came out

They never junked D3 project. Starcraft Ghost was cancled after like 10 years of making it. Starcraft 2 is what Im waiting for.

Ive been hooked to Fallout 3, its so bad ass!!!

I started playing D2 again recently in anticipation for D3 as well. Started a hammerdin on USeast. I can't wait for D3, anyone check out the gameplay? Looks sick. I think a large portion of my life will be over when it comes out...

I always liked the Mage class but Wizard looks awesome. She's also asian!

Haha sad part is that all makes sense to me to.

BTW follow a char guide online and start over and make a dedicated hammerdin, if your going to put the time into it make sure you do it right otherwise you will kick yourself later. Hamerdins don't have to be expensitve, cheap wiz spike, crappy enigma and a spirit shield ( I think thats the name of the cheap ass runeword, like Amn Tal Ral maybe ort too . )

You dont have to buy a whole new pc to run dx10.

DirectX10 is not going to be required for D3, just read that early today.

I have been playing diablo 2 for the past 8 years like a madman. It became on and off play about 4 years ago, but still.. its ridiculous how addicting it is and replayable it is. I actually just reinstalled it last week, haven't quite made a new character yet, but I will when I get a chance. Blizz sorc ftw.

I am pumped for diablo 3... I'm sure there will be shortcomings, but you can't not be happy about it. Hell, there have been rumors of a D3 for the past 7 years and its finally almost here like for real. I nearly cried when I heard, haha. Can't wait!!

haha, we're car guys, being nerds is inherent. I don't know man, after I just beat baal (now clvl 40 with my pally), I don't find the game interesting anymore. I started a druid and a fire sorc and it just doesn't hold my attention I'll give it another week and maybe I'll FINALLY try WoW?
