Even tuning a stock car will give you more power. With just a tune on my 1G before I started my build I made 20whp, measured on a Dynojet 424 chassis dyno. Thats a turbo car though, but still the factory tune is usually conservative as far as timing and target AFRs.
 
do some research no one is going to hand feed you the answers to a questions like that, the big question you should be asking is do i stay N/T or do i go turbo. :thumb:
 
Cheap to power ratio, your best bet is Nitrous.

Also good tires surpisingly help you put the power to the ground.

+1 on the tires. Improves acceleration, handling, and braking. Every aspect. Best thing I've ever done.
 
Intake, Headers, Exhaust are common bolt ons for a good change in power buy a bottle...
