no, extra paint buckets left over from my house painting. Its rustoleum aluminum and gloss black. I mixed it 1 to 1 ratio with laquer thinner. I still have alot to do but I probably wont get to touch it this week because my brother is home painting his car.

you painted your house aluminum and black? PICS PLEASE OF SAID HOUSE!!:D

looking good on the car though, you 'gunna' make people have to put sunglasses on when it is sunny!
not making fun of you or the car, just reminded me of back to the future series. it seriously looks great.:thumb:

thanks, I didn't use the aluminum on the house so I used it on the car, I used the gloss black on some stairs. Its really not shiny its just a color with sparkles in it. Well thats what it look when its sprayed on.

I think I speak for us all when I say. YOU FAILED US. How many of us wanted to see a house painted gloss black with a racing stripe or vice versa

Car looks great. There's a local with a Rustoleum red and black 2g that looks really good. Keep us posted, and hit us with some sunlight photos when you are finished!

Definitely wanted to see the house pics LOL. I used to live in a place that had a metallic silver paint job in the basement...everything was painted down there, the stairs, walls, ceiling, furnace & ducts, and the floor was concrete. It was kinda creepy.

well the house just has the black. If I dont like it when its all put together I will just do gloss black, but I think im going to like it. For the doubters, I understand this isnt car paint, and I am glad im doing rustoleum for my first paint job because I messed up a lot. I did the door perfect, bondo turned out great, its not even noticable that it has bondo on the drivers door. The roof, has some flaws but im hoping they will work there way out, I can see a little bit of a dent that I bondoed, its still a little ding, Im hoping that will sand out. I would rather not spend a lot on my paint job if I keep having to buy more paint because of wasting it.
