yep, twin disc! I got a PTT with the Isuzu slave.
It's pretty cool, nice light action. When I shut off the car it just stops. One second it's idling at 900rpm, then I turn the key and it's dead in an instant. It stalled a couple times on today's drive, but it's also easy to bump start.
Which one did you get?

is clutch modulation like an on off switch?

There is a thread on dsmlink about guys using the qm twin disc and having success with the 2g slave with stock accumulator in place making clutch modulation feel more like an act 2900 or so as far as slipping and daily driving, a lot less drivetrain shock

I got the PTT but I'm not messing with modding the Isuzu slave what a pita that will be. I have the 2g accumulator already and just need to get the 2gfwd slave and lower hard line. Until then I'm on a stock 1G setup and it's all at the top of the petal and comes on quick, it's hard to get used to it.

Modding the Isuzu slave was a bit of work, but my motor and tranny were out of the car, so it wasn't so bad. Modulation is nice with a broad engagement point. Pedal effort was a suprise- it's lighter than the ACT2100 in my Laser! At first I thought I didn't bleed it enough, but the engagement point was spot on, and the clutch fork moves the correct distance. It makes some wierd noises, but that's just how it is.

Nice, everyone is going twin plate now. I got a QM on the way, Devo Tuning is taking forever with it though. Hopefully I can get this setup together in time for Fontana.

I just got a AEM ems box for $600 too, my setup is always changing. I think I will try to make it out this Wed. I just can't launch the car hard, that's ok cause I went 11.5 last time on my first and only pass and I don't have a cage.

You lucky b*stard, thats SUPER cheap for an AEM. I think i paid near $1000 for mine. =[

I know kick @zz aint it. I can sell my Link setup for that and break even.

were any of you guys at the meet last night at ranch 99 milpitas i seen a white 2g talon the a tan 1g eclipse i was in the green 2g with the grey front bumper
