Would you mind taking one more picture of the car from say 15 ft. away at an angle? Would love to see the entire car from distance at an angle. Thanks.

Something like this so I can compare:

I took some more pics for you GSX but the crappy phone I have wouldn't show the vents because of glare. If you or any one else has a different angle they would like to see, just say so. The angle you wanted will have to wait till Monday when I can use a good camera or as soon as its not as sunny. H8r, the whole hood is raised (just a little) and then slopes down nice and even. Even then its hard to tell, unless theres a stock one right next to it.

Mine was very noticable, the edges were rolled downward instead of bein flat with the fenders.

Update! I trimmed the rear vents out and drilled two holes in the middle vents and I have had no problems with water so far. (Its rained for the past two days here) I dont have any-way of telling if its running cooler, but Im sure it is, cause it fogged up my windsheild this morning and afternoon. So today I went up on the mountain to get some good pics for yall!

Thanks! It's truely hard to get the real effect of it with my phone, it just looks so much better in person when you can walk around it and see it from any angle you want. Its not perfect though, Im a little OC so I can tell really fast if its off, even just a little. But overall Im very happy with it. It might even flow better with the lines of a 2Ga, since they have the rounder bumpers. Oh, and GSX, Im not sure, but I think bodykits.com has a CF version. It would be worth waiting 5 min. for the like, one million plus hoods to load if they have one. LOL

I agree, it's not perfect but pretty damn good looking. I really wish it would have worked out for me! I am too gun shy to try another one though! I am picking up a slighlty rashed Deft racing OEM carbon hood.

Well I tried something new today, I ripped off the vent covers all the way and took it for a spin. WOW! All I did was drive it up and down our one mile drive-way, and counted how many times the fan came on. Before with the cover on, it turned on four times, with it off, just once. I drove it first with it on then waitted till the engine was cool to the touch to drive it with it off. Then after around 30 mins. of goofing around trying to find a way to make it sturdy with out the covers I just sealed the two layers together with some auto caulk, and so far it seams to have stopped the warpping. I am a little worried about rain now though, because I just cut slits and four holes before, with it off you can see the battery and other things that look like they shouldn't get wet. So it may just be the perfect thing for drag or track days when rain is not a factor. Tomorrow I will do a tuft test (sp?) depending on weather, football, freinds and school.

Well this will more than likely be my last post on this since I'v said just about all there is to be said about this hood. My final bit of info is the the hood blows hot air out of the engine bay, instead of sucking it in. All so it rained today, and I had the vents all the way open. While I was driving it was fine because the rain was blown away from the vents. When I stopped though I pulled under a covered area because I dont have enough hair on my chest to find out if it would mess something up when its parked and raining at the same time. So yall will have to find that out on your own. SORRY! Thanks to every-one who posted.

GSX, let me know if you find one in carbon fiber. I really like that hood.

Sweet hood bro.

Got any better not cell phone pics?

I think I'm going to get this hood for my GST spyder. :thumb:

Looks good but for the price I would have just got a carbon fiber stock hood.
