Has anyone had any problems with Link and the Accufab 75mm TB working together, or the Accufab 75mm TB working on our cars in general? I have a sweet deal going and I can get one for very cheap, but I don't want to mess with it if it's going to be more of a pain than it's worth. Thanks

if it's a half-shaft accufab, it will eventually fail from force exerted by air rushing at the TB plate. I wouldn't bother until you have air mods to support a larger TB.

Hrm, well seems like you have your mods in order (didn't see the cams down below), but you don't need NGK 8's at your power level. If you're fighting to get into the 11's with a 1g TB, there is driver error (or tune). The 1g TB should be more than enough to get you into the 11's. Until you're ready to upgrade to 3" intercooler piping, a larger TB shouldn't be on your mind.

Maybe it's time to switch away from the bastard hybrid mitsu turbochargers and go with something with a bit more A/R on the turbine side.

Also, what's the lift / duration like with those cams? I don't memorize model numbers, and get some adjustable gears.

If you want a 75mm TB, I would go with the Full Function one. They have modified them to have all the provisions to bolt onto our cars including the shift cable pulley, shaft seals, upgraded spring, and even an ISC adapter. Full Function: Home

Thanks for all the info. It's not like I need it right now, but he wants to trade me my jmf smim and 1g tb for his jmf smim and 75mm tb. both of his have all but 500 miles on them. He just can't get the tb to work well on his car (msd, safc, etc.) and I figured that I would be getting a new 75mm tb for free out of it.

What turbo/turbine specs are you thinking of?
