I had an awesome time today and I'm sure the rest of you that were there did as well! I really enjoyed putting faces to the names. I would like to thank James and anyone else who had a hand in setting this up - good job :thumb: I look forward to next year...or even another one later this year!!! James, let me know if you want help in setting it up or promoting it for next time.

Here's a taste of my pictures. You can view them all using the link below to the photobucket album (which screws with the picture quality). If anyone wants any hi res pictures, just send me a PM. Don't mind some of the odd interior pictures...my brother was trying to take good pictures of the custom interior LED's :sneaky:

snowborder714/First Annual TriState DSM Meet - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

And my funny story from the trip home. As you can see by some of the pictures in the link, there was a good size group of us cruising towards Philly. We were having fun (while staying safe and not doing anything stupid on the highway) all the way until the exit off of 76. I was one of the last cars to get off the exit, with olmytsi bringing up the rear. And just before we got off the exit, I saw a state trooper in the left lane. And I start thinking to myself "Oh crap, who's getting pulled over" since he was cruising the same speed as the rest of us. And next thing you know, his lights go on (meanwhile he's 2 lanes over from me). I was really confused as none of us had done anything to warrant getting pulled over, but you never know with PA state troopers and a group of fast looking cars. But, he ended up pulling over the older guy who was driving a Buick I believe ROFL I believe the guy had been speeding as he came up behind me pretty quickly a few miles before that. Thankfully, none of us had to deal with him. For all of you who were in that caravan, that was a fun ride!

Ha, I missed the caravan back to philly....I had to get gas but I did see 2 of you fella's pulled over about 1/4 mile apart! the guy in the tan buick was at the meet too.

Good turn-out, good times, Thanks everybody.

oh sh!t son thats my golf ball shifter :D. My weighted one broke off the top of the shifter when i shifted to 3rd so i had to rig something up. :rocks:

car looks great under the hood Nick. hope to see you at the nockamixon meet next weekend. i am officially requesting/asking for a ride over the bridge if you show up.

me and the 2 guys with the galants had a state trooper pass us on 476 then dipped onto 76 towards the city. we stayed on 476 north and i put the pedal down.

lulz @ the pic of me tryin' to hustle a turbo wing ROFL

I had a great time, turnout was better then I imagined. Lots of nice cars and owners. A lot of people actually looked familiar which is weird because some I've never met. I just knew basically everyone from Tri State Tuners. It was good getting to put some usernames to faces. Looking forward attending the next one. Overall it was a success, great weather, no other events held at our picnic area, no asshats, etc. LOL It was good getting to pick up a dipstick that's in one piece, thanks turbosax2. Thanks to whoever bought my truck load of parts LOL

Whoever bought the EGT gauge off of me...umm the probe wasn't in the box. Idk how you didn't notice that but I'm sitting her playing with it as I type :D I sold it to you for $10 anyway haha PM me and we'll work something out.

To the blind guy that wants the white turbo wing, you passed it on the way out LOL right at eye level on the tailgate of my truck  And of course you live in the farthest part of New Jersey from me. :notgood: We'll work something out. There's a weekly meet in Moorestown, NJ that is supposedly pretty bumpin' so maybe we can meet there. Shipping this thing would be redic. I've sold some before and its bad LOL

Lastly, I'd like to thank Jesus, Ron Artest, John Rocker, Bob Saget and Anna Nicole Smith. Oh and James LOL for working with me to get this meet the way it was. Look forward to next year. I'm out!

Good meet, had fun. As for the egt gauge, I'll let the kid know, he doesn't have internet.

Thanks! I'll be at the nockamixion meet as always, If the car is running well i'll consider a ride but the full effect will lack due to all the wheel spin:notgood: AND the rediculous amount of oil I've been buring lately:notgood::notgood::notgood::notgood: I'm going to re-ring the pistons but i'm going to wait 'till after the meet.

I was the last one to get there and was quite upset over missing everything. Alarm clock failed to wake me up and a 2hrs drive turned into a 3 1/2 hrs drive because of traffic. I woulda bought that wing and prob other stuff too if i had saw it. Oh well, it was worth the sight.

Definately a great meet...i can't come to the nockamixion meet though. I'll be at the beach next weekend.

Whoever can make the Nock meet next Saturday should com out. It will be another great turnout as well.

Awesome meet, wish i would have gotten there a little earlier, but oh well.
Home Depot Racing FTW!

Tom, I was wondering what your typically adjust in Photoshop when making your already great pictures better. I'm glad to have met you - it's nice to know someone who's also got a big interest in photography and cars.

Well, for one your car in your avatar still looks green to me :p Glad to have met you too, I like that some of us can finally put some faces to names. As for photoshop practices, I'm still not very good with it, so I do very slight touch ups. I generally like to shoot in RAW (damn me, it was in JPEG fine the whole time) so I can adjust pretty much everything after the fact, but some color/contrast adjustments, straightening tool, exposure, and a soft light layer is all I use most of the time. I must have to say that cropping for the right photo is my biggest focus. I like to shoot the same pictures on several different lengths so I can crop out as much as I want (along with battling distortion and stuff with a wider lens).

Although I love cars and photography of cars, I'm trying to branch out a bit more with other genre's, mainly for hobby of course. here's a set from eastern state penitentiary I shot about a week ago.
