I just changed the timing from -20tdc to -5tdc as mentioned in the manual, i just bought this car a month ago. Anyways car used to boost fine but after I corrected the timing the car feels like it has no power but it boosts great. I didn't do the paperclip thing because i didn't think it mattered. Has anyone else had this issue?

Yeah, but my friend apparantly had the clamp for the light on the #4 plug cause he is a 420a guy ;/. We fixed it :).

You need to ground out the ECU otherwise the computer will used corrected timing and you will be setting ECU timing and not base timing. You should ground out the plug and do it right. At idle your timing will be roughly 20* BTDC with the plug not grounded.
