Hey guy, this is gonna be a very newb question , what kind of turbo is in a 93 talon tsi fwd? Also if I were to buy a bigger turbo, would it just be a buy the turbo and pop it in? Or would I be required to do other stuff? Thank's

Your stock turbo is a 14b if you have a manual car, a 13g if you have an automatic.

Putting a larger turbo in does require fuel and tuning modifications. Your best bet is to read through the NUMEROUS FAQ's and articles and tech guides on this site as well as VFAQ Site - Visual Frequently Answered Questions.

You have a 14B turbo.

A good upgrade is a Evo III 16G.

First thing you'll need is a logger. Then a Wideband O2 system. Then injectors, fuel pump and something to tune with (DSMlink or SAFC)

As a few others mentioned above there is differences between the manual and automatic cars. BUT , it really doesn't matter weither it is an auto or a manual car, but rather if it is a manual or auto motor in the car.
