Hey guys, I finally got a chance to put the car on the dyno with my new jmf race version intake manifold. The only things I have changed are alternator, spark plugs, intake manifold, and I'm currently running open downpipe....Im in the middle of making a full exhaust.

With a stock longblock - balance shafts eliminated, stock ignition, 61 ptrim, dnp twinscroll t4 exhaust manifold, and jmf race intake manifold, I went from 510 whp to 560whp. Boost was set to 32 psi....I will have dyno sheets up soon.

VEry nice numbers! I can't wait to see the actual curve!

Thanks. Peak torque is about 5600 rpm and power starts to fall off after 7500 rpm. I had to delay the spool up due to a 14 psi wastegate spring, and I believe the small .70ar exhaust housing is limiting power in the upper rpm range.

Wow that is a very amazing power difference. You see a lot of guys gaining only 10-15hp from stock mani's to SMIM. I think the open downpipe opened up a little airflow also. So how much more power are you making up top 7000-9000rpm range.

I was also very surprised to see the hefty gain over the SBR intake manifold, but the JMF piece is so much nicer in every way. I tried to keep my setup and tune(timing map)the same with both manifolds. I'm running 11.8 to 12.0 afrs and I let off after 7600rpm because the power just starts dropping.

Dyno sheet before and after. The pink line is boost

I'm in Tucson (east side) too, and running e85 with my AGP HP61. My numbers are 503/438 although I did not do the tuning. I would love to check your car out and what not so maybe we can meet up or head out to the track.

It is updated. Still stock block, headstuds, head gasket, etc. Went to the track a few weeks ago and ended up with a 11.6 @132. 1.9 60ft, 99 mph at 1/8 mile. Also ran a 11.6 at 123 with 104mph in the 1/8, but missed 4th gear.

holy crap 560 whp on the stock block OMG if I'm not mistaken that might be a new record 4g63 FTMFW :rocks: what kind of dyno was this on?

I actually switched over to a jmfab race manifold and retuned. went from 513 to 560....this is on a mustang awd dyno. Stock c5 corvette zo6's dyno 280 whp on it.

stock cams too?

Its a 6 bolt with dks 272's and a balance shaft elimination kit, no porting on the head and a bored out stock throttle body. It also has stock headstuds and stock composite head gasket. I will retire this longblock before it grenades and go with a 10:1 compression 2.0 with a fully ported race head. There is a lot more I'm going to do as well, so it will be a while before its finished.

Congrats on the great numbers on the stock block!!

Very nice and 560awhp on a Mustang could be around 616 on a Dynojet since Mustangs are around 10% lower.

What AF/R did you tune too with the E85?
What timing?

You should consider a studder box to help with your 60ft time, or are you doing it in the AEM?
You can definitely get this car into the high 10's when you get that 60ft lower.

The 60' sucks because the track was not prepped and it was spinning, then it would bog in second gear. I was out there to get a decent trapspeed since the tranny needs rebuilding. Im leaving the line at 6000 rpm and about 8 psi.

My afr's are in the mid 11's to low 12's as I get higher in the rpm band.
Timing is 21 degrees on the top.

Congratulations man that is sweet. I can't believe you are on the stock block that is sick. I will be back in Tucson on the 11th of December (I'm in Iraq right now). Hopefully I can meet up with some of you guys when I return. I also want to switch to E85 very soon although I will need a little bit bigger injectors if I want to run like 29 PSI or so. Do you guys think I can get away with 780's with 20 PSI on a G50 with E85? Are you guys on AZAWD?

Anyways back on topic. Nice times man I can't wait until I can test my new setup out. I only have 500 miles on it and it is still untuned. Sounds like it won't be too long and you will be knocking on the door to 10's :thumb:

Sounds like a lot of airflow for that size injector. 780's should get you past 450+awhp on a dynojet (if you are running 43psi base fuel pressure). It all depends on how rich you run it though. I run mine between 8 and 8.5:1 (12 and 12.75 gas equiv) but can go richer on my 750's.
