Looks like your coupler is barely holding on in this pic.

No it's good. The 'j-pipe' from this turbo (if you want to call it that) is pretty long. The couple is a reducer or whatever to fit the IC piping then. Both ends sit as far into the coupler as it possibly can. And the T-Clamps are perfect. That things not going anywhere.

Wow, Dave that is a nice setup. Very clean.
Thanks. Still have to clean it up some more. Want to hide some wires and wash out everything really good. Needs a nice deep cleaning one of these days.

Shadow, you say your running 17psi? I see you run portfueler, are you pulling any timing?

Yes, 17 PSI on the t3/t4e 50 (i'm boost happy), as far as timing it is stock. I still have a long way to go to get the car where I want it at, but I haven't been able to put any money into it since my build a yr ago. I was running the Apexi N1 (3"), but one day while in St Louis, I bottomed out in a construction area and broke the exhaust at the flex section. I didn't have any tools so I had to leave my cat (3") and cat-back on the side of the road... So, I was driving the car around with only a dp which ended at the oil pan for about 3 months. Way too loud for my taste. Hopefuly at the begining of next year, I will be able to rebuild my spare blown block and spare head. But 1st I need to get a trans just so I can move the car around so the city doesn't complain. I want to run more boost, but want to do it with MS. But if it doesn't hurry, I am going to have to buy a MSD DIS-2 to control timing and up the boost with the PF. 25 PSI sounds like a lot of fun.

Im not sure if your saying your not driving the car, or if you are. But either way I would be really worried running 17psi without pulling timing. You could be getting knock and not knowing about it. Just ask 1slow97, Ivan300...
You gotta wait for MSns, then you wouldnt even need portfueler...

An ignition box that can retard time, like MSD or Crane offers, or you could go with MegaSquirt.

Yeah, I know, but I drove the car at those boost levels for a little over a yr (before my trans went out). I might do a compression test this weekend to see if all 4 are still holding strong. BTW, with stock suspension and wheel/ tire size you burn through all of 1st and 2nd gear and part of 3rd. :sneaky:

stock tires?? LOL you need some sticky 245s, I held pretty good traction when I was running 15psi.
