OK. This wednesday April 30th we will meet at the parking lot in front of Haggen/Rite Aid. 7 will be the start time and it will end when everyone goes home. From Marysville it is 45 minutes and the directions are as follows

*Turn right to merge onto I-5 N toward Vancouver B.C.
52.4 mi
*Take exit 252 for Samish Way toward W Wash University
0.2 mi
*Turn left at S Samish Way
0.2 mi
*Turn left to stay on S Samish Way
0.1 mi
*Turn left at 36th St
43 ft
The Address is 210 36th St, Bellingham, WA

Basically , get off I-5 at 252 and take every available left and you will cross over the free way and see Haggen. SEE YA ALL THERE.

its not that far. maybe 20 mins from marrysville to burlington. ya this sounds really cool. i do know that cops in burlington are assholes. haha. i just got away from going to the street races down there. too much drama. so burlington/ mount vernon might be hard to find a consistent place because itll be associated with the racers. but i do know of a couple places that might work if anyone is interested.

i thoght its was 20 min away

Marysville is probably 20 minutes from Burlington, then it is 25 minutes from Burlington to Bellingham. If you look at google maps or mapquest you can see it.

well im actually doing it tomarrow if that makes any difference. i would do it today but i have a wedding to attend to. Free drinks who hooo!!!

ya i think tomorrow im doing the fishing thing with my dad in the morning and then in the afternoon my friends swinging down to figure out whats going on with my talon.

hey guys i was talking with a guy from bellingham riders (bellinghamriders.com) and they do meets at 6 on wednesday. if we move our meet up by 30min - 45min at 6:15 - 6:30 they were going to meet us and then we can do chuck runs. they meet a bit further north in bellingham and then they would come down in meet us at the sehome hagen parking lot and roll with us. so please be there by 6:30 as the bike group will probably run into us at 6:45. this is so we can run dsm and bike strong and have a larger (more fun) gathering.

SO everyone we are moving the meet time up to 6:15-6:30 so that we can meet up with this bike group.

do you need a special tool to do the timing and balance shaft belts ? i was reading something about it. i sure hope not because i was planning on doing that today.

also for the AWD do you have to have the whole car off the ground to get the crank marks lined up?

your supposed to have a special too. i dont have one i just have my friend come over and help me. we just wedge something up to hold it tight. it seems to work so far. ive drove around after doing that 4 or 5 times now and no problems. as far as the crank marks lining up no you dont need the whole car up. i just jack up for drivers side front take the wheel off and use 1/2 rachet and that fits right into the square hole and line it up.

so the time has been pusted put for the weekly meets on wednesday or the chuk nut run

the chuck run remains the same. this is the time for the weekly meets that have changed. so after we meet up if its nice out and have nothing better to do we can hit chuck with the bikes. this is because the bike group does chuck runs after their met on Wednesday i so we can join them if we like. or just go home.

well i started working on the gsx yesterday, and got down to the timing belt.. had everything lined up and much to my surprise when i took a ratchet to the tentioner pully the bolt was aready tight. but i was able to rock it back n forth. like it was worn out or something. when i applyed pressure on the bolt as if to tighten it the belt became snug like it was susposed to be. but the pulley itsself wasnt tight it rocked back n forth.

i could still really use some help, i have to order a new tentioner pulley now. so i probably wont be for another week or 2. but if anyone with expierence could lend a hand or even just supervise the install that would be great.. ive only drove this car like 4 times and it would suck to break it now.

here is the address of the haggen we will be meeting by

210 36th Street
Bellingham, WA 98225

not a problem. i will try and get there first. around 6:10 ill be on the highway side of the lot (the far side from the stores) backed in with my yellow fogs lights on.

angushiggins has agreed to come help me put my new timing componets in. so if all goes according to plan ill be driving my 95 gsx.. but if all doesnt go according to plan ill still be able to make it but i wont be driving a dsm eathier..

ya i dont think ill be making it up there in my talon either. ill be showing up in a 79 toyota corona or a i think mkii vw caddy. haha

Angus, its a MKI Caddy. No such thing as a MKII caddy (in the united states)

and, we will be in a VW Caddy (Rabbit truck) really low, and really brown.
