Hey about how many of ya'll actually plan on hitting up a gamestop or bestbuy tonight to pick up GTA4 on its midnight release?

Anyone in the seattle area going?

Right here baby! I got the special edition on hold. I even took tomorrow and wednesday off so I can take it all in. Oh, but I'm not in Seattle.

This town sucks! No midnight release here. Wal Mart said they only have 15 copies and Fred Meyers said they are only getting 150 copies and nowhere else in town is getting it.

Signing in. I'll be there for sure! Yea, I would have liked to have taken off but I didn't because my job is requiring a lot of travel right now from me. So I guess no sleep tonight before I have to get ready for work at 5:00am in the morning...but I know it will be well worth it!

yeah I'm ready to go, I'm bring my Sociology course reading to the line up, and getting that out of the way, so I can play all night tonight.

I pre-ordered it back in December, I'll just pick it up after work tomorrow.

So I'm guessing that all of you are PS3 or Xbox guys???does it come out for both????? The only time i will go to some late night thing is, back on black friday. Me and my girlfreind stayed at best buy from 9p.m till they opened the store at 5.am. To buy this laptop i talk to you now on for $300, with a free printer that doesnt even work on my computer!!!

Ive never seen a game that I would go at midnight to buy. Seeing new movies on the other hand....

It's definitely worth staying up for. I don't know how I'd categorize this game though........ anger management or stress relief? Maybe a bit of both.

Xbox 360 release, or regular? Because it released for 360 at the same time.

Im pretty sure its on both, I could be wrong though. I was going to reserve a copy but didn't think about it til it was too late

Yes the game is THAT MUCH BETTER. If you've got comcast ondemand, look up the G4 preview, or visit the G4 website and check out there review.

Yes it was released for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 at the same time.

Midnight releases are good for 2 reasons.

1) some people want that extra jump time to be able to play before they have to go to work or go to school or even some take the day off just to a good chunk of gameplay in, because this game is so rich in content and things to to do it puts San andreas to shame. Although the map it self is technically smaller , the game itself is huge.

2) The other type of people that go to midnight releases, are the people who have to work on the day the game drops in stores, and don't have anytime that day to pick it up.

They can come at midnight and wait for half an hour to pick up their copy go home and sleep, go to work, and then come home and play without having to rush to the store before it closes

The game is awesome, I got about 4.5hours in of game play time, and I"m only about 12% complete of the main story missions. There is a shit load of things to do. And thats not even counting the online or co-op things to do.

Had my buddy pick it up today for me while I'm stuck here at work. He better not be at my house playing it when I get there!

WOW so i heard that that GTA4 is freakin sweet. I wouldda just picked it up today. But my buddy got it at 12 and played it till 4 we had class at 7. So yeah It's gotta rock!!!

Won't get it till I get tired of COD4, Rainbow Six 2 and Army of Two.

Too many games, too little time.

It's on my list to pick up a PS3 and GTA4. Sadly by the time I do, all of you will have beaten it and I'll be playing it by myself.

I got it shipped to me yesterday, I only got to play like the first 20 minutes of it, but wow its so much more realistic then the last one. SO far so good. All ive really done so far is drive people around.

I'm about 10-12 hours into GTA IV. Wow, thats all I can say. If you don't own a 360 or a PS3, do yourself a favor and make your purchase now!

Anyone try to multiplayer yet????, I'am about 8 hour's into the game soooo much better then the rest.

ok, that just made me decide on buying a ps3 next friday. hell why not, i have a NES, PS1, PS2, might as well. guess a ps3 and this game are in my future. god i love the GTA series of games.

Multiplayer is awesome! I've only done the team deathmatch with some buddies in multiplayer and its a lot of fun. This game rocks!
