Well I just got a chipped eprom and put it in the car and it fired right up. But today I put in the clutch wire, stutter box, in and now when I try to start it it will turn over in the engine bay fine but sometimes on th eon position I can hear this clicking sound and can also hear that by the ecu. I checked for spark and thats fine and I can smell plenty of gas but it still wont start. So I switched to my stock ecu and it doesn't click or anything but It just turns over and doesn't start. I'm getting really confused and would appreciate the help. And the ecu's look fine and the eprom was just rebuilt. BTW Its on a 92 laser awd.
Thanks

i have that same problem on my 92 laser awd did you test your coil pack that what i em trying next on my car to see if the coil pack is shot

Obviously when you wired in the clutch wire, something went wrong. Start by moving backwards from there.

Just for grins and chuckles, when you say you have fuel, do you mean the fuel pump is supplying fuel to the engine? You might get out your handy dandy test light and check to see if the pcm is modulating the injectors. You should have 12 volts koeo. Key on engine off. If that's good, put your test light on the positive side of the battery and then check the "other" wire. Your light should flicker as the pcm tries to modulate the injector. Light on or off steadily is bad. It should flicker when you are cranking. Try that first and let us know.

Good Luck

thanks for the quick replys, I just got done checking to see If I was getting fuel and I was for sure. the only wire I messed with was out of pin 4 and I just connected that strait to the green wire coming from the clutch sensor thing. Its weird because the stock ecu turns it over fine but when I try the new eprom it clicks when I turn the key to the on position for about 5 secs and same at the starter but it still will turn it over fine.

You better recheck what your trying to do since pin 4 is the O2 sensor. The clutch wire goes to pin 104 and requires a diode in the circuit unless you cut the old CSS wire and don't reconnect it.
