Im not looking forward to opening this subject back up but even on EMS forums it is still not stated the best. ANyway, Im looking at big, big injectors and I have been told that a AEM injector driver is needed? Is this true? Half the people on here say it is for it to idle and the other half say it isn't and it idles fine. Now on the AEM site, they say the same. Im trying to get a final answer as there are many people still puzzled with this question.... Im posting this in the newbie section because I know that there are people that are listed as newbies who still know there stuff. Thanks to all who reply. Lets get a definite answer here people.....

Im looking at 1600cc but Im just posting this for everyone that has a question about it. There is just so many differant answers for this question.... I might use 1200cc im not sure im just asking a question that I have been researching....

I know of 2 different people who run E85 with 1600cc injectors off a DSM link so I don't see what the driver box would be used for.

Well, I have AEM but I know what you mean. Im just looking for the answer on here. Actually looking for people with experience with AEM and tuning big cc injectors.

Anyone? I have been away working and no one has replied to this... PLEASE HELP!!!

I wouldnt bump your post. And 1600ccs arent that big. Lots of guys here run them.

I would jump over to the AEM forums. Or contact them directly. Maybe PM turboglenn. I know hes played with AEM and probably 1600ccs.

Thanks alot man.... I did call them but the people on the tech line just seem like there out for cash not for helping. I called and all he kept saying was,, "you need it, you need it. It wont run right without it." Im just summing it up about what hi said. Anyway, Im just thinking of someone else turing it for WOT. So that way I know it is done right. I would still like to see more info for the injector driver. I have no problem buying it but I don't wanna be wasting my time with it.... Anyone have anymore advise?

The problem is most 1600cc injectors are 5 ohms, and the aem injector drivers can't handle them very well. Even with the injector driver box they can have issues. If you don't need 1600's then get something smaller. I have 1200's and they idle fine with the AEM,

Thats what im looking at. But im going to be putting down a lotta power and I don't wanna run out. I was looking at 1200 cc injectors but everything told me with my setup i need more... I have a stroked out engine and I don't wanna mess up

are your 1200s peek hold, or saturated. i have 780s in the car right now, but i want to go bigger before the dyno. but im curious to know how big i can go with aem ems, without sparing an idle and having to get injector drivers
