I have the same exact pair. They are great they look amazing on the eclipse and they are really easy to install! It only took me like 20 min to get the old ones off and the new ones on! great choice i definatly recomend

I guess thats all matter of opinion. I had some projector halos, but they are just to ricey to me. I went ahead and got a set of OEM 2gb headlamps. The housing is recessed back further and looks much better. Once again strictly my opinion coming from a previous owner of those exact same style lamps.

I have those same lights as well. the look alright in my opnion. BUT, with mine when driveing at night you really cant see that great with them. I dont know if the other guys have the same problem or not. I have done every thing to make it better but they still dont cut it...... it's like driveing with a visor on you head lights you can see the road great 10' in front of you but they have no distance to them at all. oh, and yes i did level them and adjusted as much as i could but will not get any better... Im just going to go with hid's

I agree with both of these points, although I don't know about going with HID's unless they're a true projector retrofit. Simply slapping HID bulbs and ballasts in there just gives sloppy results.

Either way, here's my recommendation... look for the cheapest, crappiest 2Gb headlights with scratched, stained, or otherwise discolored lenses. Try to pick them up for as little as possible. $30 or so?

Now buy those cheap projector headlights on eBay and swap the lenses. I'm sure the interior of the stock headlight will be in good shape as the lens bears the brunt of the damage from time and the weather. When you install these new lenses, you'll have stock headlights that look as good as new (but for a lot less than $200 per unit).

I originally had eBay projectors, but they didn't fit well and were difficult to properly align. I found a set of decent headlights shortly thereafter and swapped the lenses as described above. I'm very pleased with the outcome and the new lenses look fantastic for more than a year now.

I think they look ricey and ugly but thats just my opinion its your car. I say you get 2gb headlights and put an HID kit, it will solve all your visibility problems and look nice and clean.

LOL, Good Idea Paul. I personally bought some dingy ones then sanded them down and cut and buff them 1000 grit sandpaper, then with 3m 3 stage extra-cut, trizact swirl mark, final glaze. Looks brand new after a couple minutes at 2200 rpm :p. Of course not everyone has the expensive compounds/pads or a dewalt buffer either.

I do, and I could never get my old 2Ga lights looking quite the way I wanted.

Im planning on putting the stocks back in when i do the hid's, my brother had tried to put the hids in his halo projections and i agree the results looked much better when he swapped in his oem set.

Even then, the halogen reflector housings aren't designed to focus light from an HID bulb. Light will scatter all over the place blinding other drivers and drawing attention to yourself. The only way to effectively complete an HID swap is by fitting OE projectors from another car into eBay projector housings.

I just bought the same pair of headlights, and actually they just came yesterday. Sabersport is a great seller and he has really fast shipping. They were shipped to my house with in a week. I would highly recommend getting them. I" will also post pics when I get some time.

The clearcoat came off fast on those headlights. Not worth it, fugly. Buy some OEM

Thanks for the help guys, I think I'm just gonna try to find a pair of OEM 2gbs.:thumb:

Those are the same exact headlights I want. I have those same projectors on my car, angel eye halo projectors as u can see in my pic (I don't know if u can make it out from the distance). Except the only problem is the mine are chrome, I really want the black look to the head lights. My rear tailights also have chrome housing, it looks aiight, but not my style. That's how it came when I bought the car. I want black damn it! If nobody jumps on that ebay link, I may jump on it. Even tho i'm broke at this moment, I have no clue how but i'll still jump on it! OMG

what is the difference from the 2Gb lights and the 2Ga lights?

There are two different kinds of headlights on the 2G's because of the difference in bumpers from 1995 and 1996 DSMs to the 1997-1999 DSMs.

Haven't you ever noticed how some DSMs have larger gaps between the bumper and the corner of their headlights in the middle?
If there is a large gap they have the wrong headlights on their DSM.

2ga= 1995 and 1996

2gb= 1997-1999
