is that possible? motor won't blow?

Very conceivable. If I just come off a stage and open the hood, the turbo and manifold almost glow bright enough to read by. Not as much as that video, but close.
 
i was just thinking the engin may break LOL
not that I don believe that...
 
i wonder how hot it actually got...damn that thing was glowing...id be scared if i opened my hood and saw something like that.

really... how hot is the thing? i dono any idea when steel glows?
and... how fast can that car go??
 
My manifold looked like that after 5-6 long 4th gear pulls while tuning. A cast manifold might take more but the glowing is actually pretty normal on turbocharged cars.
