So i went with this guys How To thread and it DOESN'T work according to HIS instructions and Diagram. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=224551&highlight=Cyclone
i have the same summit switch and its hooked up to the same spot my shift light is so know i have rpm signal and the green light turns on but i only get .160 to .200 volts.....? WTF???? i'm confused so if any body has an idea on how this is suppose to work PLEASE help thanks.

I hate to bring up the oldness, but we are running into the same problem. The summit swith box that is mentioned in that thread is calabrated for an 8 cylinder motor. Did you ever get it worked out?

So are you still using the Summit Box that is described in that original thread? I never could get the green signal light to light up. Summit has agreed to swap it out for a different model, the model that is set up for a 4 cylinder. I'm going to give that guy a shot.

Why are you using an electronic switch to actuate the Cyclone? Chances are if you're doing a 6-bolt swap, you've got DSMLink, which lets you actuate the cyclone runners through the nitrous controls. Wicked easy to do, and no additional wiring needed.

6 bolt swap?? i already have the jdm 4g63 but no intake so i bought the cyclone to finish it off. Any ways yes i am still using the summit switch but i found that for my solenoid to kick over i had to switch the connectors around on it. (in other words i ran it off the neg pulse instead of the pos.) i'll have to go look at it again tomorrow since it's been awhile. but i got mine switched out from summit as well but the same model but i was having trouble w/ the solenoid kicking over.

That makes me feel a little better. For all that are interested I believe this is the correct model that should of been listed in the original tech article:
Summit SUM-830450 - Summit RPM-Activated Switches with Digital Readout - summitracing.com
Anyway it's nice to see others trying this out. There is a lot of trash talk about these manifolds, but honestly if you not looking for a damn super car these things make for awsome street manifolds. Some people just don't know when they have something good :)

I have one. I bought an entire JDM GVR4 engine to get the head, intake, and supporting hardware. I'm going for as close to an OEM-looking install as I can, and am using DSMLink to actuate it. I think it'll work great for a daily driver.
