Not to sure what kind of flywheel to get, do I go with the act or the fidanza? Kind of leaning towards the fidanza, but not sure. Anyone have experience with one of these? :dsm:

Personaly, id go with the ACT, the fidanza is to light in my opinion. I have installed a fidanza in my buddies car before, and i peronaly like my stock one over it...maybe im just weird, or need to get used to it. If your gonna be drag racing, and some autocross, id for sure go with the ACT due to its lightness and its still got some mass for inertia so your reves dont drop off as quick. If you looking for an all out autocross car, stick to the fidanza, but becareful, the reves drop off FAST.

hey i want to swap in a manual tranny for my fwd auto is this possibly? Does anubody have some interior parts cuz mine are all painted gross! :barf:

Jason, it's definatley possible, but honestly it's a real project, and you're probably better off building the auto, or selling for a 5speed. A guy I know did it, but he did everything to his car, almost nothing in his drivetrain is stock. :cough10secfwdcough:

I like my SBR 3500 better then my ACT 2600. More holding power with a lighter pedal!

my freind hasnt had a problem with his ACT. Although it is a CRX and not a DSM the stage 1 in there grabs at any gear at any speed if you pop it. Its pretty nice.

Never had an ACT, Never want to get one. Heard of way to many problems with them.

Stutter box.... check

6-10psi for launching with a 5 speed.... check :D

GLD track day next SUNDAY MAY 15th...... check

Might be able to do GLD this weekend.

My act pwns. Close to 70,000 miles on my 2600, and it has never slipped or glazed even once. It has taken a minimum of 50 runs down the 1/4 mile, plus countless street engagements. I love it, and would not hesitate to buy another when this one finally fails. :knockonwood:

hey all WI DSM dudes. we should set up a big ass meet in the summmer and do a road trip Gumball 3000 style haha. Like a Milwaukee to Madison or something not too long. that would be pretty kick ass with like 20 DSM's rollin together. peace. im lame.
