Last night I was tellling my brother in law about how great the meet was that I went to on Sunday and I think he got the bug a bit because he asked me to go for a ride.

So we went.

Sure enough, I seen a WRX that I had to mess with. I wish I hadn't... I ended up getting busted doing 92 in a 60, but I did represent DSM pretty good against that Subi. Luckily the cop didn't give me a Neg and I only got the $298 ticket. I haven't had a ticket in over 3 years.

Worst part about it... the WRX rode off into the night flashing his hazards at me while I was pulled off to the side of the road.

Take it to court and fight it. Even if its completly your fault they always knock off some money for showing up. And if the officer doesn't show, your off scott free.

I was arrested ONCE for racing a ### ass integra, who RAN from the cop when he tried to pull him over. the cop pulled me out at gunpoint and arrested me at 17 and didn't even read me my rights. I got it deffered for staying clean for 6 months, my only "ticket" ive gotten. Although I have been caught doing 70 and 80 two sepereate times, getting pulled over and no ticket. I also blew off next to a cop with a vented SSQV in my old car and the thought I chirped my tires and pulled me over. So I revved up when he was talking to me and proved my worthy Then he has the balls to ask, "this little ####er must be pretty quick eh?"

Anywho, if you happen to come up with the cash, PM me and see if I still have them. Would like to help out a fellow local DSMer instead of shipping them somewhere.

Good news guys, rumor is true, there is footage and I have it. Also, what size injectors are you selling zak? and how much? Also, i agree, i think it was a dick move of the subies to go flying past all of us and it was really annoying hearing that white subie kept blowing off, and by the way, was that guy gay? cause he sure acted like it ......ahem, but anyways.... that meet was by far the best i have ever been too, but right now, I am having a problem, so i couldn't go WOT because everytime i would go WOT the last couple of weeks, one of my intercooler pipes would blow off. any idea of what could be causing this? anyways guys, if you want the videos ill try to post them up on youtube and i can email you the video files if you want. let me know, can't wait until our next meet!

has any of your pipes been cut down like before the end lip on the pipe. cause the lip is sappose to stop your pipes from blowing off and make sure your clamps are as tight as you can get them before stripping the threads. thats all i know cause it happened to me when i first got my car running. i know sonyslave remembers that shit. cause he was at the shop when that problem kept on happening. when i got pissed off and fed up about the whole pipe blowing off part and took apart my front mount at home to stock side mount. which im still running till i find the rest of my pipes so i can run my front mount again. with my new j-pipe for side to side.

My pipes useto blow off, until I beed welded the ends of each pipe now they hold.

Oh and yeah Id like to see some of the footage that they took that night, so can you please post I have a bunch of dsmmers from my community that like to go to the next meet but would like to see some video. Thanks

Nate... try using some High-Tack Gasket Sealer on the outside of your IC pipes and on the inside of your couplers. The stuff comes in a Rubber Cement type can that has the brush attached to the lid and works great! You should be able to pick a can of it up at any auto parts store. Here's a pic of what I'm talking about:

hey guys new to the forums bought a 92 gsx the other day as a second car. Also have a wrx so go ahead and hate i dont mind.. Anyways just wanted to say hi

im an idiot I left before dinner. if i would have known about the cruise I would have stayed for sure. I still remember mobbin to HIN it was fun. Time to get the next meet lined up the turn out for this one was awesome.

second sunday in jan sounds good. cause i should have the stuff i want done ,done like a new turbo since my e-bay evo 16g nows bad. so by january ya i should have either a 50 trim or another 16g non e-bay freaking turbo special peice of shit ... january 08 for sure cause i havent had no fun with my 90 gsx well i should say havent ran against a subi yet i should say. so count me in for the next meet...

Sorry to say Zak, Dynoflash is a f***ing joke and Al is a goddamn moron. Your friend's Evo is NOT making its full potential. I can guarantee your friend better idle, better cruise, and better top end power than ANY Dynoflash tune if you PM me. I know of two different people that can net him that guarantee.

must be bad luck, i have an ebay turbo, going on a year and a half, no problems and still boosts great. but yeah, a january meet sounds good to me. lets figure this one out, hopefully we can get even more people than this last time, which still was an awesome turnout.

boost leak kills turbo's so i learned cause it killed mine so time for upgrade. which means a big christmas present.and reinstall my intercooler piping and hoping my pipes dont blow off again.

Me and my buddy with the mirage will be there, this time I will have my talon for sure sorry I didnt take it I had the head off the car and it was at the machine shop. They have had it for a while.

By the way that ugly little SOB mirage can easily see 25+ psi. It ran a low 12 at our Renegades race track.
