just got back to the house. ride home due to rain sucked but was a good time while at the shootout def got alot of pictures i'll post the link to where you can view them i think between 400-500 were taken using my canon powershot S5IS.

also learned that while drunk brick walls have no give when you hit them, dont ask. swollen middle knuckle and missing some skin but after 100cup beer pong i dont remember much LOL

I dorve to the shoot out. It got rained out, then drove home. I had some danm good biscuts&gravy @ Bobevens. Are they going to reschedule?

Hey me too! We were in the Straightline Performance truck/trailor if you saw it at all this weekend. I wish people were a little more friendly though, a few people were nice but the majority wanted to just be in their little "clicks." Lots of people at our hotel at least could have been a lot more friendly, whatever though, I still had a good time with the people that I knew there.

I've been waiting to see this guy's car! I used to know the owner of this car... I was friends with him on the Fiero.nl Forums. I owned an 1986 Fiero GT during the time between the GSX and the car I own now... I miss that baby... damn good cars! And the Fiero should be one of the fastest there if its powered by a damn 4G63... I raced a V8 Fiero in my 95 GSX and got my ass handed to me!

I think, if I remember correctly, he goes by Purple Reign on Fiero.nl. He also has a GSX... If only I could get around to towing my 88 Project car from Las Cruces to Albuquerque!

Guys, keep the photos commin... weird part is I dont see any food... are you guys just chillin or going to have a huge Cookout or whats goin on? Damn you can't get any of the ABQ-DSM guys together unless food And/Or Beer is involved... LOL

Looks like your all havin a blast!

I think you're thinking of the GN. And if so here ya go. My GF took these pics, some handsome stud was driving the GN :thumb: I was just taking out some pent up aggression after Buschur wouldn't let me on the dyno "I don't want to clean up any oil" oh ok jackass.
After the Burnout I forgot to switch off the linelock and stalled it out, thats why I'm laughing in the one pic.

HA those are some good pics but im definately thinking of the trans am. Its my friend..

ahhh, love the GN burnout, he was with us from the little city of Stow. Classic, I just wish his talon was there too.

That crazy evo is my buddy J-rod's car from Empire up here in midland. That thing is a SICK autox car, and probably the most fun ride i've ever had in an evo.

Right on

I would say we did a good job with the aero work from everything that J-Rod has told us.

No it was not fun. Any of you that said you had a good time trailer your car there for 5.5 hours or more one way? Even if it gets reschuled there will be about half the people there to RACE not bullshit come back. Yea im pissed. Will be doing all local events from now on.

You know there are a lot of guys that drove a LOT further than that? The Canada guys came upwards of 12 hours and still had a blast, and I know they will be back next year. If you didn't enjoy yourself than I'm sure nobody will miss you next year.

I trailered 26 hours each way, by myself... I had a great time.

I didn't get to run my car, I didn't get to see the "super cars" run, but I spent all day Friday and Saturday at the track and had a blast because I was doing what I wanted to do.

we had 2 cars trailered from MD/VA in our caravan and that was 7+hour drive 1 way. . . :sneaky: and with the walkie talkies it was def a fun time. i'll be down to come again next year!! woot!

I had to work for the Car Show/Dyno Day, so I didn't get to even see any sweet cars... :(

Hopefully, they'll at least work out a good date to reschedule the Drag Day.

Im sorry you felt that way. I only have about an 1 1/2 drive to norwalk(I no, im lucky) and I would deff. do it again if it was rescheduled. $180 a night just to stay at the hotel was worth my while. Dsmers have got to be the best gruop of people to be around! Of course everyone goes their for the cars but their is so much more! I got to bong a beer out of a second story window of the all american inn. I drank some Windsheild washer fluid (patented by some guys from virginia beach i believe, whom also cooked some amazing chicken). I got a spray paint (called Fast and Easy!LOL shit sucks ass getting off!) tatoo buy some people at the Best Western. I met a lot of new people that seem cool as hell( Brian Little, Dan Lewis, Tony Turk, My old buddy Jimmy Read, the Shearer Group, and a bunch more.. I seriously think it was the best weekend this year for me. I wish the shootout could be scheduled twice a year for how much fun I had. I hope the turnout will be big if it gets rescheduled. Thanks for a fun ass weekend for those of you who were there:thumb:

A.J. Hall :talon:

def was worth coming home from iraq to hang out and get drunk in the evenings with dsmers. and i agree def the best group of car heads to be around hands down!
