Thats a good question. I just checked his site, and he doesn't even have schedule for 07' up. The last update was in 06'. Haven't seen him on TV either. He will be at the shootout right?

His car will most likely be down for most if not all of this year. He is modifying the car a little! ;)

Jake acts like he knows.

He sleeps in motorhome with John.

I actually need to call john for him to do a transmission for the colt :)

John is currently at the shop, just dunno if its full time for this season.

Well where do I start. Yes I will race the car again but I doubt it will make any passes this season.

It came down to safety. The car could have still run the way it was and I am sure it would have clicked off some 7.5's but if I had an accident there was a good chance at well over 195 mph that I may not be around. Please remember I have a wife and 3 kids to support as well.

So as it sits the car has been acid dipped, everything from the frt to the back has been taken apart and it currently has a 25.1e chassis so it will be safe and legal for 7.5 and quicker. The car was making very good progress but we finally came to the realization that it would not be ready for the beginning of the season so the decision was made to take our time and do things that we have wanted to try and as always make it unique.

All I can promise you now is that I promise you will not be disappointed :)

We all can't wait to see you run again. Good luck!! :thumb:

It was a solid axle but not a true complete 9" ford and no I will not go into specifics, there are too many copy cats in this industry :)

Wow! After just reading this thread, I feel like... I just met a celebrity! OMG

That's what I get after just being a DSMer for the past 11 years and just joining Tuners this year.

Hi John!

It's good to hear that you are a real man with keeping family first! Not that I ever thought otherwise. :thumb:
