Wow, it is EXTREMELY sad, that professionals we do this kind of absolutely MORONIC stunt. I have been open about my postion on street racing and the consequences. I am pro-track, but it doesn't help when those at the track come to the streets and do the exact opposite.

A burn out, that would've been cool. A WOT launch down the street.....f*cking retarded.

I don't understand what possessed them to think it'd be okay to have a pro drag car launch down a street lined with spectators. Wow... I honestly don't know what to feel right now. This shouldn't have happened.

I just watched a special on this whole charity race. If I recall it was on Spike TV, which ironically they raise money to help dissabled kids. That is shame..

I am also very pro-track because street racing is very dangerous. Not that this was street racing per say but race cars are not ment for the street ever. I just think its sad that these young people died/got hurt because of extremely negligent planning.

Funny cars belong on the drag strip. Who the hell thought it would be ok to put it on a street road with WAAAAAY more imperfections when you already see them wreck every now and then on the strip.

Sounds irrisponsible on every ones behalf, expetially the police officers or persons in charge of the parade. I dont believe criminal charges should be brought on him tho.
In my opinion its foolish to stand that close to a funny car, you would think the spectaters had more sense (not blaming them for the injuries tho)
