Haha after I put on the front mount and 16g maybe I will. Gonna see if anyone in chula will install the downpipe on my car tomorrow. But i'm still down to cruise sunday. I vote not to be leader this time...everyone might follow me home. LOL
 
Total eclipse SD will be getting together and heading to the Q on the night of friday the 22nd of june. if anyone is interested we are going to have 5 or 6 of our guys running that night. we will be meeting up before hand at the Chic-fil-a on sports arena blvd.

Hope to see some more 1Gs and 2Gs out there!

lets do a saturday DAY trip to julian for some burgers and pie sometime. nice winding drive through the mountains. also i got a tech question for you guys. do we have a 6 botl engine or a seven bolt. im watching this oil filter housing on ebay and it says its from a 6. any advice.
 
im down for a drive if anyone sets something up, and yup that would be a 7bolt on your 99
 
I got a 6 bolt. Well you saw it was a 6 bolt right Moses? I haven't even looked and I've had my car for a year now. I remember going camping when I was a kid up in Julian, its a drive. How about we go up to GPK and cruise down to IN N Out?
 
Nah, Mike I was jokin. I really dont know what a six bolt block looks like or how to tell the difference. I know we have a 7 bolt block stock. Most people that do the swap use the 1g head and intake manifold which is a big difference.
 
oooohh ok. Yeah I was thinking the exhaust manifold for some reason, long week. And to top it off my radiator broke, so I have to wait till monday to get it and put the new top end tank together, its going to be a bi*** to put it in, well not really, just time consuming. Then finally get my dp installed monday.
 
How about GPK i was thinking we should leave from there, and yeah we just hang out and help each other with what ever we can but not a team or anything like that

yeah every sunday at the in n out in national city at around 10-10:30, we might start metting up at the giant pizza king (GPK) off of 43rd on the 805 at like 9:30 and then cruise over to in n out. btw anyone else interested on cruising up to mod?

No Rotary's:notgood: If you do, I'm bringing the $6000 van.ROFL (When you think about it... the RX-7 cops will never think to pull over a van.)
 
man i got to change this auto out stat. good thing i get free labor when the time comes to install a 5 spd. im just nervous about it, i remeber how long it freaking took with my focus. I had a ZTS sedan that i swapped the svt motor and six spd tranny into. it was a freaking pain. has anyone in socal done the swap.
 
well was driving from MV to PB and my check engine light came on leaving PB. havent tried key dance yet. can anyone tell me next to the stock turbo pressure gauge is the other half ever supposed to be closests to the L.
 
so we meetin up sunday. ill be there this time. im hoping to get this check engine that just poppped up today in the past. thing is this is my first native turbo car and i have know idea what little qwirks await me. im hoping the check engine is just a fluid issue. time to put in some Racing Royal.
 
The gauge next to the stock "boost gauge" would be the Oil Pressure Gauge. The needle on that gauge always moves around. The more you give the car gas, the more load it puts on the engine, which means that it needs more oil pressure. This is also why at idle the oil pressure is very low. But if there was something up with your oil pressure, there should be a seperate oil light that should come on, not the engine light.

I would get that light checked out ASAP though. Autozone used to do diagnostics for free, but I think they might charge now. Either way if you didnt do anything personally to cause this light to turn on, GET IT CHECKED.
 
Autozone still does it for free but you need to switch your drivers I.D. for it untill you give it back. Me and Felix will be there at 9:30 well because we get off at that time haha. Yo Moses the guys from totaleclipse helped me with a boost leak test, and the we thought we heard a leak from the exhaust manifold, but it was the dip stick leaking for some reason. I read on this and it could be the fact that I didn't turn the crankcase 30 degrees, we heard air coming out of the exhuast too. Still don't know why it was leaking out the dip stick. The new leak tester I made it so bomb, it has a psi gauge on it already but we got the psi up to 3.5 psi and it would die down within two seconds.
 
i was going to roll up early but ill wait a little since the overall census shows between 9-10. what do you think? anyway see you there. im going to autozone later today so ill get back to you all on the code
