Well, went back out to the track today after fixing the t-case mess from last weekend. My 1st pass of the day was my best as it was still somewhat cool out in the morning (68 degrees) as the day went on the temps got up to 81-82 degrees out. I need to completely relearn how to launch the car on this new gt4202 turbo.
straight up 40lbs and 100shot of nitrous for spool (nitrous shuts off at 33lbs) Couldn't get anymore then 41Lbs today as the wastegate spring just doesn't have any more left it in. I was planing on running the nitrous all the way through today but my wideband sensor decided it was going to be flakey on me today, so I need a new wideband sensor, so I realy couldn't make very many adjustments on the fuel, I know it was on the rich side, but didn't want to risk it.
Here is my new personal best.
60ft. 1.687
330ft. 4.312
1/8th 6.461
mph 119.95
1000 8.231
1/4 9.701
MPH 153.37
Rest of the day it went
9.86 @152.77mph with a 1.741 60ft.
9.94 @152.72mph with a 1.780 60ft.
9.73 @152.87mph with a 1.676 60ft.
Car would bog on every damn run, it was a combination of both me not wanting to break on the line after last weekend and trying to get decent boost out of the hole. Neither were working for me today..
So not too bad for my 1st full passes down the track with the new setup of the 2007 season, car has lot more left in it. Geuss it's time to start playing around with the 2step settings to build some more boost on the line. Car would bog all the way back down to 3200rpm from a 7500rpm 2step.
Drove the car to and from the tracks, stock head with crower springs/retainers HKS 272/272 cams, no port work done, OEM valves. Car weighs in at 2930 full race weight.
Same motor that has been in the car for the past 3 seasons, this will be season #4 on this motor.
Video of the runs today, sorry for the poor editing, I just threw it together real quick, tired as hell as it's been a long hot day.
Right click and save as please. Enjoy!!
