RedLine Shock Proof FTW!
I am in FL and because of the heat here it works well, and you are in P.R. so you have the same heat isses. For a AWD I would reccomend 1QT. of ShockProof Heavy and the rest Light (1.5 Qt. Aprox). I run ShockProof Heavy in the T-Case and Rear dif for maximum protection.
EDIT: I just noticed you have a GST: Run the light, not the super light, but the Light ShockProof, the blue bottle. You will need 3 Qts. and you will have about half a Qt. left over. Expect to pump it in because it is thick

Hah, same problem I had. Everybody has Royal Purple, nobody has Redline in stock. I don't have anything great to say about Royal Purple 75W90 at the moment but I'm going to wait until I swap it out for some Redline MT90 to compare with the "best".

If you have any race car shops around check there. A lot of them carry it. Mt90 is not the same as ShockProof lube line.

I run 100% ShockProof heavy it's a little stiff when it's cold. A buddy ran the heavy in a stock tranny with 450+whp for over 30k miles and lots of 1/4 mile passes with no issues.

I am assuming this was for the tranny since the OP was FWD. IMHO, the best stuff you can get is OEM. Mitsubishi Dia-Queen for the EVO MR 6-speed. It's awesome....and pricey...$10 a pint, not a quart, but a pint! Seems worth it though...

Definately Redline in the T-case and rearend though.
