Well I finally got the car dyno'd for opening day at the track.

Dyno time was done at Beyond Redline Performance in Green Bay, WI.

Dyno was a DynoCom 1800 AWD reading in SAE uncorrected numbers at all 4 (lowest numbers recorded vs. STD, STP, etc.), 30% drivetrain loss.

I was only worried about my tune, not making a quadrillion horsepower, however, the numbers were right where I was expecting them to be.

The best dyno pull was done at 35psi with 11.0-11.3:1 AFR's on 15-16 degrees of timing, using AEM EMS. The AFR's recorded on the dyno sheet were off due to placement of the O2 sensor, so ignore that part of the graph.

We ended up with 645.4 AWHP and 567.2 ft/lbs TORQUE from 3rd gear pulls, letting off around 7400rpms. HP was carrying, but torque was dropping, so we let off early. This pull was after 40+ pulls that day of trying out different things, so the car definitely had some fun. I video'd the session also, but I need to edit the tape since there was alot of space wasted on it. I will post up the 645 AWHP pull when it is done.

For comparison, the prior dynotime was done on a 2WD Windyn Superflow with a 15% drivetrain loss and SAE uncorrected at Extreme Performance Motorsports, Greenville, WI. It generated 630whp/590tq on a maxed out T4 SC6181SP, and 497whp/459tq on a maxed out PTE SCM6152S and mitsu cast 2G manifold.

Calculations from the DynoCom AWD to the Windyn Superflow generated 742.2whp/ 652 tq.

Not a bad improvement.

Oh yeah...this is a 2.3L 7-Bolt stroker with a 1999 block, FFWD connection Butcher crank, 99-spec split thrust bearing, clevite 77 mains/Federal Mogul rod bearings and Eagle rods/Ross Pistons. The engine has ~24,000 street/dyno/track miles on it, ~150 dyno pulls (all above 500whp), and ~100 1/4 mile passes with absolutely no problems.

Hopefully, after the cage is installed, I will be able to obtain a 9 second pass this year. I should be able to trap above 140mph in the 1/4. Opening day already got rained out, but I am hoping for good weather on April 22nd for Import Wars #1 @ Great Lakes Dragaway to go for it.

Damn, nice! Your car seems to be so hot that people in the stands took their shirts off. ROFL :|

April 22nd at GLD, you say? I'll be there, say I!

Where in Milwaukee are you, by the way?

Waukesha, by the airport.

Nice. If you're ever by 27th Street, stop into the Checker Auto Parts there and say hello. :)

Its nice to know that some of you guys are actually local!

I will have to take the car out sometime next week or so when the weather gets better, and stop on down.

Thats it! JK Nice numbers Tim hopefully you can keep the tranny together this time. ED
