We are expecting 122-123mph traps in the 1/8th mile next weekend. On the pass it went 118mph in the 1/8th it was pig rich and no timing. I added 2 degrees more timing and took some fuel out, and not to mention the fact boging it so badly on the line ROFL

Happen to get any videos while at the track?
Good luck next weekend, looking forward to the results

Ummm yeah, but the videos suck since I never got a full pass in. 1st pass was just 1/8th mile and 2nd pass all you see and hear is me come out of the hole then straight to the rev limiter.

Let me get a full pass in before I post any videos.:thumb:

Not sure why you guys really wanna see a vid of my car breaking on the line, but umm ok, here it is. 1st pass was only 1/8th mile since the track was still wet at the end, boged the shit out of the launch all the way back down to 2900rpm and it didn't come back online till 150ft. out, car was pig rich on the 1st pass.

2nd pass Transfer case broke out of the hole, didn't know what the deal was and was thinking it kicked me out of 1st gear, so I clicked 2nd gear and stabed it again instant FWD mode, tires just spun and hit the 10,000rpm rev limiter.:notgood:

your car is one very well put together dsm..glad to see its running good even though the transfer case didnt like the launch..i feel like my t67 is nothing compared to yours

Thanks man, the T-case has had better days thats for sure, it had 120k miles on it and 4 full seasons running low 11's then mid 10's then low 10's then high 9's. Then the other day it decided it had enough. Car is back together now. Had to replace the Yoke on the driveshaft as it twisted the splines up pretty good. So this saturday we are heading back out to see what else we can break LOL..

Can't wait for more passes Jake! Looks like you redlit on that second pass anyways though. Hopefully you'll be able to make a full pass this weekend for us all to see!

The redlight doesn't matter, it was test-N-tune day anyway, no racing going on. R/T has nothing to do with the ET or MPH if you sleep at the light or red light. It's all the same.

Well I konw R/T has nothing to do with ET or MPH...I was just pointing out the obvious...:sneaky:

Props on getting everything running smoothly man! How much of an improvement does the nitrous make on spoolup, and have you thought about spraying it all the way through?

I'm absolutely shocked that your Tcase lasted that long anyways! Have you looked at the DSS Tcases? Also I wanted to ask what suspension and cams you went with, and if you were still running stock axles?

Edit-And I don't think anyone wanted to watch a vid of you breaking stuff as a bad thing. DSM'ers rally behind you, and we ALL get excited when we get a chance to see what you're up to!

Thanks for the props man, I do plan on runing the nitrous all the way through, I only have a 1/8mile pass on it this season so far, so I am working my way up with it. Once I feal the car is dialed in then I will run the nitrous all the way through.

The DSS t-cases is alittle out of my price range for now, the funds for the talon has ran low for the next couple of months.

I don't really have anything fancy as far as suspension goes, it's just GC coil overs with KYB AGX's. As far as cams, I am still on the HKS 272/272 cams, the cams are not doing me any good at this point as it needs more. And yes I am still on stock axles..:shhh:

Oem green axles right? The remanufactured axles that you buy at parts stores are not nearly as strong.

Congrats on the new and improved mph :) Hope to see some 8s from you this year :thumb:
