I play it all the time. While not as slick as say NFSMW or Carbon, there's much more to it and it's not something you can finish quickly. The benefit is that you're driving on a GPS mapped island (Oahu) which is very unique from any other racing game.

I'd strongly recommend it.

i got all 3, nfsmw and carbon, and test drive unlimited, and i hardly play the latter, but play test drive all the time. and you need to have xbox live for this game, its just not fun without it. before i got a 360 i always thought i would never pay to play online, but all the features of live, and yes i have played pc games; just hard to describe, from someone who never thought i would get sucked into pay to play, for xbox live, i would pay the $3-4 they ask for a month.

and test drive is awesome because other drivers you see on the island are other players. although the tuning and variety of import cars are not as good as the other mentioned games, its unique as mentioned and very fun in the long run.

andy if you have live and play this game, pm me ## gamertag maybe we'll go cruise around on the island haha.

I've been playing the PC Beta of Test Drive Unlimited, awesome game. It's great just to cruise on the island. :D

i was so impressed with the graphics and realistic features of the game. the racing is pretty lame and i gotta agree that the cars kinda lacked the tuning and customizing ablility that NFS has. if only it had Carbon's mod shops...

I would absolutely love the game if the physics were tweaked, it is waaaay to difficult to control the cars. I'll turn up the sensitivity but I can't make subtle adjustments while going 200mph down the road to go between cars, rather it'll switch a whole lane and run into oncoming traffic. The cars don't like any type of movement at high speeds either.

I have it for the PC and it runs decently on medium detail at 1024x768. I was expecting it to run bad so that was a pleasant surprise. I might try playing the game with my ps2 controller, but I'm really used to play driving sims with the keyboard on the PC.

I play it on Live, but only because the police are disabled there. The few players I usually see are total hosers. They try to run into you or run you off the road. Luckily it's usually pretty empty. Now PGR3, THAT game is a good time on Live.

I play quite often. TheDeathDriver. FR me if you want we can get some multiplayer races going.

I only need 2 more achievements to be an "Ace." One is the interclub race, and doing a custom challenge, I have 1/2 done with that. I got lazy though. I beat all the races and have all the good cars. I just like to "cruise" around, and hit up the "drag strip".
