x2 I'm kinda surprised at how shitty they sound, I've heard a few with exhausts that are nice and throaty almost v8 like that sound good, those just sounded like shit

I've always hated the sound of WRX's... I've heard ONE STi that managed to get a very smooth exhaust tone. I don't know how, as I know nothing about STi's, but it sounded good once the tone was smooth.

For boxer engine desigend in conjunction with Porsche, I can tell you that my Porsche sounds way better then that does. Damn they sound like crap.

I've always heard that the "STI sound" comes from the unequal length headers. if they put on equal length they smooth out

I agree. I've taken 3 WRXs @ only 8 psi.
Not to mention their trannys are like glass. So once you actually make some power, you can expect to drop a K or two just to replace it..

hmm....i usually like the sounds of certain scoobys...but all of those sounded like pure crap.

I want to know the feeling and thoughts of the individuas sitting in the cars as they do that...

two words...supremely ghey...so glad the few STI owners that i know do do stupid crap like that...
