Ended up being the waterpipe. I had it rewelded and got it back installed. Now I just have to make sure my garage floor stays dry.
Besides that its just bleeding the clutch and botling the hood on :)

Get that thing on the road and put up some vids!!! I'm excited to hear from you.

The Coil Pack does not need to be externally grounded, it is grounded through the PTM. The ECU grounds it's side of the primary with the Power Transistor Module when it wants to charge the coil and disconnects the ground to fire it. A 91-94 coil pack has 3 pins. The 2 leading to the PTM are the "grounds" for the coil. Meaning you can mount your coil back and PTM anywhere or let them hang and they would still function properly. Sorry to burst your bubble.

From the video, your car is running perfectly fine with those cams at the rpm.

I'd have to say wrong on that cause when mine wasn't grounded it ran REALLY rich and my timing light wouldn't work. It DOES need to be grounded. I happened to have another coil pack and tried it out. When laying it on the strut tower, it started working so that's how we figured it out....cause the other mount I had made wasn't grounded properly. Had to make a new mount to solve the issue.

On my last set up (stock motor, magnus etc) The coil pack+bracket just sat on top of the magnus. No spark issues at 23-24psi.

The car was finished yesterday but the battery may be too derad to jump. I am tracking down the problem so it will start today unless I have to order a new Odyssey battery.

I know when I put on my New JM Fab Intake there was no spot to put the PTM. So I just left it there hanging. No issues with mine at all.

But it was the metal bracket touching a metal manifold right? I dunno why some people's car wouldn't need to be grounded but mine did. My car would literally foul the plugs out in about a minute from it not being grounded. As soon as it was grounded, it ran fine and timing light worked like it should have. I'll try not to hijack the topic at hand though.

Well, my car runs :) I got it finshed up and did the first oil change. The cams are definately not happy at idle. EVen when the car is idling at 1000-1100 you can still hear that it has some big arse cams in it. It also likes to die after I blip the throttle but my tps setting aren't perfect and I'm sure I have at least one vac leak. My GF took my digi cam to New York but I'll see if I can't get a vid up for you guys. I have a few little problems to address but all should be right soon.

What are you using for tuning? I haven't had any problems with it wanting to die at idle at all with my car.

DSMlink. It will hold an idle just fine after its warm, but when I rev the motor and lift it will die. Keep in mind I am using the Q45 tb with no ISC motor and the FIAV bypassed. I also have not gone into dsmlink and set the Q45 TPS perfectly, although it is close. I'll probably just bump up the idle rpm a bit if fixing the other things doesn't strighten it out.

So even with the idle raised to just about 1000 it still wants to die if you blip it ? Wow, they must lope like crazy!!!

Well, I fired her up today to help chase a problem and at first it wouldn't start at all. We suposedly set the timing yesterday and I noticed how much if effected the idle. I bumped up the timing a bit with the cas and it fired right up. After it warmed up I could also blip the throttle and it wouldn't die.

What did you set the timming to ?

We thought it was at +5, but it was hard to see as we did it in the middle of the day in the driveway. Since my crank pulley was off to fix my oil leak, I painted the marks white so they would be easier to see.

Well we got it broken in today. A few little bugs to iron out but nothing too serious. My GF is coming back into town tonight so I'll try to get an idle vid up tomorrow.

So now its at +5 base and its got a smooth idle, well as smooth as you can get with the big cams. haha

Cant wait to hear them.

Yeah, I think it sounds tough :) Hopefully I will get some power numbers soon.

the only thing would be to get the mid range to have more of like a gung to it, which is probably impossible without 3 in exhaust and the right kind of muffler

I'll try to get a sound clip of it under boost/wot. I've only heard it form in the car with this "exhaust" but I know its loud.

Vac is around 10-11" at 950-1000rpm with the 2.4.
