Some people may have had good experiences with ebay manifolds, not how I feel. Just take a look at this picture and hopefully you won't cheap out and buy one, becuase I sure as hell wont buy another one. Now I have no daily driver and dont' have the money to buy a t3 flanged 44mm flanged ext manifold and I"m ####ed.

Aren't they supposed to have a lifetime warranty?

Yeah one of my buddies is certified through N.A.S.A to weld.....which isn't really saying much considering.....haha....It's defently not the type of piece that should be on a car with such potential, and I'm not sure about the warrenty

That looks like a SFP Manifold..which aren't ebay manifolds if that is what you have. AGP use to sell them.

SFP Manifolds are some of the top manifolds out there! I really hope its not!WTF

Everyone that I know personally that ran the sfps have cracked.

Call up AMS motorsports they make an adaptor plate that converts the stock cast manifold to accept a t3 flanged turbo... ah but then again you need the 44mm wastegate almost was a good idea!

I have one it cracked in the same area, had it repaired cracked again plus I notice a crack on weld that mates the t3 flange.

What you guys are not realizing is that, you should support the pipe leaving the wastegate in some way. It is hanging off the manifoild weight unknow(wastegate and pipe) and vibrating the whole time the car is running. Welds will crack no matter who makes it. Everyone want a tubular manifold but don't want to do the supporting mods like having the down pipe tied to the block like the factory was or in this case having the wasegate pipe supported by something besides the welds. You are not the first and would not be the last. Go to the best welder in your town and get it fixed, and if you dont support it. It will happen again.OMG

weld it up and put a brance underneath so it doesnt happen again....an exhaust shop could do that in 2 minutes.

wrong...most exhaust shops only mig weld...this needs to be tig welded...you will have the most luck bringing it to a welding shop...

It can be mig welded with no problem. Just make sure that the person welding it backpurges during the weld so it doesn't sugar on the inside which can flake off into the turbo(this only applies if it is stainless steel). Also make sure that they use the proper wire. I wouldn;t take it to a exhuast shop to do the repair they will probably mess it up pretty bad. Take it to a real welding shop.

Man that thing looks piece of chocolate molded into the shape of a manifold.

If its under like 6months old, i would contact the guy you bought it from, if it is a power seller (ebay store), you may be able to get an exchange.

I've been running my SFP for awhile now and mine is even wrapped, no cracking. I run a TiAL 40 with a dump tube and I still have the little brace that holds that pipe up in tact. I have heard of them cracking but that happens with most tubular mani's(shearer's are the only ones I have never heard a complaint about). Take it to a good welding shop, have it rewelded with gussets and you should be good as gold. The mani is mild steel and not cast like was guessed above for anyone that was wondering.

oh yeah... It's not an ebay manifold at all. They are still made by a reputable company called South Florida Performance.

Oops, sorry i thought it was bought from ebay for some reason, i live here in south florida, and to tell ya the truth, ive heard some bad stuff about that, but then again i have heard some good stuff, they tend to do alot of hondas down here. I personally never been there or boughten anything from thier shop, maybe ill go there and check them out anyways, may have some good stuff.

The top pic looks to have a stainless flange at the manifold but the pic of airpopoff's is mild-steel (which I thought all SFP manifolds were). Prol a copy, though even the badge on the #4 runner looks similar

Either way, alot of SFP manifolds have cracked so think it more a bad design to begin with (e.g. no support for the WG). And to be copied, now that's pretty funny :dsm:

The wrap is probably holding it together!ROFL

Im just playing around. There are better manifolds out by far, but the one I had didnt crack in the short time I had it.

2 cents
