Well I've been out of the game for awhile so I'm demoting myself to newbie status. Actually alots changed and I'm just not sure where to post this. If I don't get any luck in here I'll find a better section to post it in. Alright so here's my problem. Keep in mind this all happened in about a day.

Alright so I start it up one morning and the idle is real rough, as in popping. Real lumpy kind of like it had cams or something. When I drive it I get a studdering everyonce in awhile. It's usally right around 2k rpms. When I get on it a little, nothing really happens. Kind of like either I'm getting a shit load of knock or a huge boost leak. But I'm getting no knock and I've only really had time to shake my pipes around but they are rock solid. Now at idle I'm getting around 37-40* of timing and my low and high fuel trims are pegged at 140. Mid is around 120. So right now I'm thinking I might have jumped a tooth and my timing is screwed but not sure if that would mess with my fuel trims. Also my O2 sensor is somewhat suspect so would a messed up O2 sensor cause any of this? Any ideas? I'm not going to have a chance to tear into the beast until later this week so all I have right now is the info I got off scanmaster.

I agree with the other guys. Timing is off. You could change the O2 any way for the hell of it, but it definitely sounds like timing.

Alright the plot thickens. So last night I drive it down the street to put gas in it. Its real sluggish and bucking when its under 2k all the way to the gas station. It was fine once I got about 2k. Then I get some gas in it, start it back up, and the damn thing is fine?? Timing on the scan master is back to normal and everything. It still feels like I have a boost leak but timing seems to be back to normal. Maybe the tooth jumped back WTF

WTH man...it takes 5 seconds to check the timing on the cam gears...just pull the cover and take a look. DO IT. Don't speculate on the timing when you can KNOW.
