I have read through info on alot of different clutch kits and have reduced it down to these three. Would appriciate feedback from people that have experience with these clutches

This car is my daily driver that occasionaly will see some 4krpm launches at the track, and at best will add a evo16g or 50trim and dsmlink to its list of mods.

I am leaning more towards the CFDF or Spec with the higher friction disk but lower pressure plate load that keep the pedal effort a lil nicer for a daily driver; but, despite its spring failures, i dont want to leave out the ACT2600 in my consideration because of its proven success.

I have a Spec Stage 3, and I really like it. So I'd trust the Spec. Pedal pressure is fairly light (Note that I have a SS clutch line as well) and it has never slipped on me. I've only had it for about 3-4k and have launched it a few times. The stage 2 only has a street disk, rather than a puck style, so I assume engagement will be smoother, though mine isn't bad at all.

The spec stage 2 is perfect for street and is supposed to have lighter pedal pressure compared to the act 2600. but the spec stage 3 is more compareable to the 2600. I had a cfdf and i hated the engagement and it just went out on me with no warning. springs just fell apart. Although clutch pedal stiffness to me is no issue the cfdf was close to stock, but i still prefer the 2600 over everything. Although I havnt tried a 2100...may have to try that next.
good luck!

I have a CFDF and love it. It probably has over 15,000 miles on it so far and about twenty 4500 RPM or higher launches(w/slicks) . hasnt slipped a bit and will hopefully have me in the 12's in a couple weeks. I've driven other cars with the ACT 2600 clutches and the pedal pressure is alot heavier on the ACT 2600's.

I agree. I had a CFDF. I think it lasted maybe a month. Mine too just went out for no reason at all. i don't know first hand about SPEC, but I'd definitely would not suggest CFDF. Just my .02

CFDF here. it was on the car when i purchased it and since then i've put about 10k miles on it with at least 35-40 hard launches on the street with an 18g and wide rims and tires that dont slip LOL (17x8's with 245/40 tires). the cluth is still strong as the first day i drove the car.
i love it because the car is daily driven and the traffic in nyc is horrible so the light pedal effor is really a plus and i didnt have to change the master, slave cylinders and the clutch fork like i had to with the act2600 on my eclipse, which by the way started slipping with not even 10k miles on it.

I have the CFDF. It was on the car when I bought it. Numerous hard launches and I've put around 20-25k miles on it., with no slipping. I've had the transmission off of the car a few times and the clutch doesn't show any signs of abnormal wear.

I also have the CFDF and I love it. I have about 4k on it and 20+ hard awd track launches at 20 psi from the evo III 16g with anti-lag on dsmlink. Plus countless lauches on country back roads when tuning/ messing around. Ive had no issues with this clutch and I would reccomend it, when I kill my current one I will buy another to replace it.
