OK, I am about to purchase a new set of tires for my DSM, but the problem is that I'm a cheap bastard when it comes to tires. I want something awesome, but I hate paying the awesomely high price. After reading pages upon pages of reviews and prices, I've finally narrowed it down to the one's I'm getting. And the winner is the BF Goodrich g-Force KDW2's. Now here comes my question:

Where or who has the best deal on these?? I've searched many different forums looking for discounts, or referral numbers and I've come up short. I really hope Tire Rack isnt the cheapest price on these...... Being a sales rep for a wholesale company, I know there are places and people to go to for deals. If anyone knows where to get a deal or has a Tire Rack referral number, Hook Me Up!

PS - Best price so far was $710 shipped from Tire Rack..... A prize goes to anyone who can murder that price. ;)

From your profile, you're running 18's, right?

Onlinetires.com has them. Smallest / cheapest 18's are 215/40/18 85Y.
$536 for a set of 4 (before shipping). Cost goes up from there depending on size.

I had a set of BFG Traction T/A's shipped here to MA back in December. Cost me $58 per tire total. Took about 5 business days (they were in a different warehouse).

Hope it helps, good luck.

Walmart Tire Center near me got KDWS's, but the W2's????
Worth a call. Much cheaper installed with warranty than Tireracks price without warranty.

I do appreciate you checking, but I am looking for KDW2s not the older KDW's. I wouldnt mind having the KD's, but they are even more expensive. I am looking for these tires in a 215/35/18 or a 225/35/18. Here is a pic of what I am looking for:

Thanks again. :thumb:

Maybe try your local tire places. Some of your locals might match or beat the prices you find.

On a side nite, how are these for traction? I was just going to go with AVS-100s since they are about 1/2 the price of the KDW2s.

Allready did that. Local guys want about $40 more per tire than Tirerack.....

Well, these tires seem to get some pretty bad-ass reviews. I've used BF's twice before in the past and I had good luuck with them, so I figured I'd give them a try again. Now I'll find out how these perform. :dsm:

PS - I think I got a deal set-up. A guy that works @ tirerack needs some help installing a new turbo on his WRX.... hmmmmm, I smell a deal coming on. I should have them by Tuesday at the latest. :thumb:

Hey,
Online tires has the KDW2s. That's the price I gave you. They don't list them if you look under BFGoodrich (I was confused by this at first, too). Go to the Tires section, and at the bottom, enter in the size you're looking for. Scroll through that list and you'll see "BFG G-FORCE TA KDW2". Click on that and you can see the prices for all the sizes. Then you can fill out the order form to see what the total would be.
If you already got the deal through Tire-Rack, sorry. I don't check this board on weekends.
Good Luck - those tires look great!

My old roommate has hookups to tirerack wholesale... but youw ill have to pay shipping from oregon to wherever you are... usually can get the tires/wheels 40-70% off...

he can get the supra 711's for like 25$ each... :D

Ill talk to him about how much he can grab those tires for later on today...

OK, I found them and I ran through the ordering screen real quick. They are running them at the exact same price as TireRack. $668.00 plus freight. Bad thing is they are in CA and tirerack is in IN which is closer to me.

Cool Deal. Yeah definatily let me know, just in case my contact falls through. :thumb:

i usually just print out the page from tirerack and take it to my local shop - they always match the price and no shipping charges!

Right, but then you have to pay local sales tax. Something you wouldnt have to do if you ordered tires from out of state. And believe it or not, the sales tax would be more than the shipping. Tax = $40. Shipping from tirerack = $30. And the local guys need a week to get them in stock; tirerack has them in stock and I am one transit day away from them. Plus in all honesty, I'm looking for something cheaper than tirerack. I'm not even really that happy with their pricing....

I live in IN. Tire Rack was $33.00 for 2 day shipping. You are not that far from me 99gst. I don't think it would be that much more for you. And they are in stock. If you get them I think you will like them. They :rocks:
