I just changed my wheel setup from 205/40/17 over to 245/45/17 (Azenis). My launch use to be around 3500 which got me a few 2.2 60 ft's. The other night I played with my car a bit and found I can now launch around 4-5k with no spinning at all. It seems to good to be true but I cant wait to see what 60ft I'll get at the track. Anyways, what's the highest rpm you guys are launching on your fwd street tires?

I got a couple nise 4000k launches, most the 3200-3500k. I got some tires to try is time, 225/5016 yoks avs es100. I thinking with the rear shocks set at 8 and front set at 1, it sould took very well.

I wouldn't take it past 3500RPM, should be perfect if you nail it with the 245s.

Yeah, changing to the correct high alone probably helped you out quite a bit, not to mention going wider. How wide are your rims?

I recommend experiment with different rpms. 3,500 seems to work for most people, but you may do better launching higher.

Weld your center diff and get monster slicks. Rev limiter launch.

i run them on 12psi. but i try not to launch to hard of the line cause i dont want to break my shafts or my diff. But my best 60ft is 1.9 i hope i get a 1.8 next time up ill try to launch a little harder and see if i can break a 12.
