Today I was running down the interstate in traffic at about 80 when my windsheld was soaked with water and antifreeze. Pulled over immediately and cut the car off. The upper hose completely blew into two pieces. Neway, I think it was the original hose so that could be expected from a 95. In the mean time I get another delivered to me by a friend on the side of the interstate and replace and refill the fluid. The problem is now my car will not stop running hot. Just curious if anyone had any ideas. It has not had any cooling problems before this. I am thinking of changing the thermostat tommorrow but just curious is a stat could suddenly go bad and cause enough pressure to literally blow the upper radiatior hose into two pieces. The car is a stock gsx other than supension.
