I have an 95 AWD TSI Automatic. Im wondering if I can use a tranny from a 2G FWD to replace mine. It might be a really stupid question but couldnt hurt to ask. Let me know

As far as the internals go, I think 90% of parts are transferable, however it would be like taking piston rings and bearings out of an engine to rebuild another one. Get yourself a rebuild kit and go from there or send your tranny out to IPT. They are probably the best import transmission shop in the country for automatics.
 
ok but what you are saying is that it wont work to directly swap them though right?
