I have a T3TO4B from turbnetics, currently i have a just a flange but i need to get a new manifold when i go to buy a manifold do i have to buy a T3T4 spefic or can i get a manifold that has a T3 flange. OH i need to know about the clearance for a 2g GST will i have to get a new radiator fan or can i just use the stock, or if anyone has a suggestion on a manifold please i will take the info. Thanks guys :dsm:

I would say a T3/T4 flange. I have one in my GST from SFP and I still have the stock radiator fans with no problems.

A T3/T4 Turbo refers to a T3 turbine side and a T4 compressor side.
If you want a manifold for it you need a manifold that Bolts to the T3 turbine housing. however most places will understand what you mean when you ask them for a T3/T4 manifold. Im just giving you a little insight to the terminology.

I understand that, im just wondering about the clearnce on the T4 side with the stock fan in, thanks :dsm:

With the smaller to4b compressor housing you should be alright as far as clearance with the fans and water pipe. Only with the larger to4e cover do you see massive fitting problems.

The T04E is the middle size, it fits with minor or no modifications usually. Sometimes denting of the water pipe or trimming/replacing of the passenger side fan is necessary. The T04S is the largest compressor housing and has more fitment problems.

who sells decently priced log type manifolds?
I have a T04E (57) clearance is not an issue, this is for a RWD Engine swap. I just do not want to spend 500+ for a tubular that will cost even more to have modded.
The head/turbo flange has to be flipped upside down...

Hey man for that i would prolly go with the Slowboy mani cause price is right and they are bigger than a EVO III, i think they are around like 250.00 and a T4 flange cost nothing for SS its right around 50 and for mild steel your looking like 25 at the most. Good luck with that i would love to see the pics Thanks for all of the info i went with the Turbonetics cast for the T3T4 now its on to Fuel management any input would be good i dont think im going to go with anything thats standalone any input on DSM link ? :dsm:

well cannot get thier page to work, keeps erroring (SBR) and just to clarify, this is a T4/T3..
How much is the SBR manifold?

Oh, and the car is a Mitsu...
Old style...

1989 Conquest TSi Widebody

And yes I am stupid enough to put a FWD engine in a RWD car...

Hey 2.6 or 2.0 its the same thing.....LOL but the site is down i tried to order my injectors a couple of minutes ago, the slowboy is like 250.0 i think. But again u will have to flange it but thats not hard at all. I was looking to get a Conquest but i just cant find the damn things anywhere, well atleast a stock one. But just ask Brent Rau those 4G's make a mean RWD car... :dsm:

400 bucks will buy you a nice turbonetics or south florida performance manifold

I know the 2.6 and 2.0 are not the same... That is why I went with the 2.0 swap, the 2.6 hits a brick wall at 475-500 ish Hp... SOHC sucks...

Just wish I would went with a 2.0 wide block that would have bolted to the 'Quest trans.

worth it for T4 applications but too much $$ for T3 - the original wasn't designed for t3 but i guess theses guys had it drilled for both somehow?

i guess john sheperd does run 8's on that mani :)

you hit that brick wall after cracking 5 heads

Just swap out the turbine housing for a T4, can get a Bullseye for like $200. That manifold is equal length, beefy runner size, ideal WG outlet location, won't crack like a tubular. It's a PITA on a FWD/AWD because it relocates the flange to center. on RWD, it'd be pretty easy because you'd be fabricating everything anyway.

actually the caravan nonjet valve replacements are very good heads. Stock they are 1.5" round.

I had one ported out to 1.75" (yes a full 1/4") bigger on the intake, and 1 5/8" on the exhaust side.
Even with the stock sized valves, the CFM increased by 53.

Does anyone know where I could get angle oval weld els then? I have no problems making my own, hell that is what a welder is for, which I have 2 of. That is the only thing I do not like about the '63 is the oval ports. It makes custom fab a real pain...

And that would mean another 1200 which I do not have. $800 for the manifold, 200 for the housing and 200 for the new shaft and rebalance. Not to mention the increased lag...

Did someone say something about that is the mani that M.S runs and if so witch one of the two links is it? Cause to me both of those look like crap. :dsm: I have the Turbonetics T3T4 and it looks great and cost is 475.00.
