I'm planing to paint interior and try to find shop in Korea and found this!!

Carbon trim...shop says if I send any parts then they'll make it look carbonish.

I found some sample pics. some of them are 2G Eclipse interior parts.

They do Black , Red, Silver........they do all colors

I think it looks pretty cool but it would look way better if it was real Carbon Fiber. The real stuff looks so much better then the synthetic CF. Hey if you like it then go for it.

is this a sticker or is it painted? Because my windshield wipers are made to look like carbon fiber but are just painted on with some kinda template I guess. My wipers would pry look better if the guy before me would have clear coated them or something but it does look kewl. I think the pics look pretty awesome too. Honestly who wants to pay to have ALL of that done in REAL carbon fiber

I think that looks really good. I saw on some tv show a few months back there was some guy who mastered a CF look through air brush. I think that also looks better then some real carbon with double stick tape and then stuck to the interior. I'd get them If I wanted the look in my car.

I think it's a Sticker type not painted.

and Yea, I totally agree with you about 'who wants to pay' part.

Yea, real CF has that 3D depth to it and carrys the cost.

how much is the sticker thing going for.

Thats a sticker. I have a roll of it here from like 3 years ago when I thought it was cool.

It's 3 dollars for 1 foot by 2 feet.

Its carbon fiber look-a-like vinyls stickers. What you do is cut sheet to size and stick it on and then heat shrink it so that is wraps around the trims to get the contour of it.

those parts DO like nice in my opinion. i wonder what the cost is for that? if that is the decal type, it looks like they did an excellent job on those curved pieces (at the pics look great!)

it isn't easy to wrap the vinyl around tight multi-angled curves. it can be done, but it's not a fun job.

I actually think it looks pretty good. Atleast in the pictures. If the price was right I might add a few small pieces here and there as accents. Places that noone is going to be staring at from a few inches away.

agreed totally. any more info on this shop or anything stateside that does similar stuff? i mean hell, i've been working at a vinyl shop for almost 8yrs, and some of those curves i'd rather pay someone else to do than do it myself. (assuming the real things looks as good as the pics)

EDIT: i wonder if it's paint or decal. look at the last pic, with the red pieces. that ring is taped off, or appears to be taped off. i've never taped anything off like that unless i was painting. HHMMmmmm????

wow those look really nice. Wow happy new years man!!! i wish i could be back in korea right now. I miss korea alot!!! Can you find out the price? i really want to buy those and put it on my car!!!

Those peices dont look bad at all. I am fond of the blue myself, but the heater and a/c control knobs on that 1g caught my eye as well. Wonder where to get those. Same place??

still not sure though about the paint vs decal... that first red pic, the whole piece looks red even where theres no CF design. like it was painted all red to begin with. but if you say it's vinyl decals... i have no more reason to argue. either way, that last set of pics are awesome!!

thanks for finding these. even though i'm not much into the CF look and don't have much for pieces that could be done... WOW is what i've got to say. props on the worksmanship!

if it is from korea we'll probaly end up paying for shipping too. So its going to be alot money. Common give us the price already!!!

Hyena, Where is the store at? Is it near the bases? I am going to tell some of my friends that are still in Korea to check it out.
