which is easier or better to install, an intake FP like the walbro or an inline one?

Well, I went with the walbro 255 intank pump, simply because you have to remove the old pump from the tank either way. Why not make it easy on yourself and just do an intank replacement. The intank walbros also seems to be the more popular choice.

I also would recomend the intake, unless your plans for your car are more or less full time race car? Then the options tend to be different. Most turbos/cars only need the walboro 190/255 pump, but it depends on your application.

I went with the Walbro 255. It is more than enough unless you will be reaching for a full time race car with extremely HIGH hp levels(over 550). It's extremely easy to install as well.

Just too damn noisy.

If noise is an issue then go with a Supra FP, they flow slightly more than a 255lph at lower pressures and around the same amount at the higher pressures, and are quieter. A walbro 255lph HP at say 30psi, will flow 220lph if I remember correctly, on 13.5v. So let me put that into perspective. My 880's, at 100% IDC flow 211.2lph, so its enough flow to max out 880's on 30psi boost, thats more than enough for most people out there, you're dealing with close to 500whp at that point.

thanks for the opinions ... i was probably gpoing to go with the the intank pump anyway (walbro 190) as my HP goals are modest. i only plan to run my B16g at 15 psi (or possibly a bigger turbo soon ... 18g?) after i get my injectors and afc. i had just never heard much about inline pumps at all.
