Everyone who is on this forum please send me a pic of your car and your tuners SN so i can add everyones car to the vid. HEre is a lilttile food for thought I will be making a recap vid of HWY100 this year. Hope to get some awsome footage through out the season. Thanks again, Jason

P.S. I would still like to get a big meet up with everyone on this site again in the summer to get some footage and a little interview of each owner of there car.
 
Just wondering if anyone in the milwaukee area has a spare block laying around that I could have or buy. My tranny froze up and snapped off the ear on the bottom of the block. :dsm:

Hello ppl i'm thinking about getting a greedy emanage system for my car does anyone have one?

This is because my safc went to shit i think it stopped reading rpm's can anyone bring there safc to oshkosh i will pay the gas PLEASE HELP I HAVE NO CAR BECAUSE OF THIS!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
 
I live in Eagle (by mukwonogo) and I have an extra 6 bolt block sitting in my garage. Crank, block, pistons, rods, all there but disassembled. 50 bucks and its yours.

does anyone need a maf translator for a first gen? I really need to get rid of these and one comes with the sensor, I have two of the maft. They are both brand new so pm me if you are interested.

I sold it to some guy that lived up north near greenbay. He needed a reliable car for school in cincinatti or something, I new that car was reliable so I did not feel bad selling it to him, but now I really want it back or another. I had it for a year or so with no problems only had to do oil changes, I loved it :cry:

How much you looking to get for one of those?
 
I also have a set of 780cc injectors if any one is interested, and a couple sets of 1g rods, one set is shot peened and hardened/balanced.
 
Oh and a ball bearing 60 trim, I believe the slowboy name for it is a GT13, not sure off the top of my head, Turbo was recenetly rebuilt by Slowboy and has low miles, its a direct bolt on to factory manifold

Well i got the letter to go take emissions. I am going to go to the dmv today because my younger bro has to take his road test and my parents are not legal drivers yet. Can i do anything about the situation and tell the DMV that my car is in another county and they don't have emission?
 
i dont think you can get around emissions if you get the letter. but i passed in kenosha with no cat. sssshhhhhhh :shhh:
 
Does anybody here do or know of a reputable shop that can do head work. I just bought a 2g head for my '90 TSi AWD ;) and i need the holes where the head studs go in the head to be enlarged from 11mm to 12mm, I need it to be able to bolt up to my 6bolt. Can anyone help me? or at least give me some prices anything will help. Thanks

why on earth would you buy a 2g head for a 6bolt? Sell the head and find ur self one off a 6bolt.
 
in case u didnt know andy a 2g head outflows a 1g not many people know that. the head itself does. the only reason people think 1g's are better is because the cams, TB, intake manifold, but if you put lets say 272's a SMIM, and a 1g TB on it it would outflow a 1g head, i was talking to DSMJIM about it. i still have my 1g head it is for sale in case anyone is wondering ;) if you dont beleive me thats fine. I was just wondering.
 
I could of sworn the 1g outflows the 2g, guess not.
 
and on the new built engines i heard from some company not sure they are using 2g heads on them.
 
The 1G does out flow the 2G, the 2g head has a larger amount of material allowing for a more extreme port job, when you take a 2G ported to its maximum to the 1G head ported to its maximum, the 2G will outflow the 1G head. Stock to Stock the 1G head wins. Most hardcore race dsms run the 2G head, such as sheppard and I believe Marko from Magnus. The 2G head has a slightly different design to it allowing for a more efficient head ONLY if it is worked out to its maximum potential. Simply bolting a 2G head on a 1G will result in a loss of power.
