I know the engine has four mounts. Just was curious as to when some mount this engine in a rwd application they use that plate on the front of the engine to use the front engine mount near the pulleys. Couldn't they just use the mounts on the lower sides of the block?

THANX.

I'd use all 3 mounts. BUT my 280zx's I6 only had 2 side mounts from the factory, it weighs aobut 50% more than a 4g63, but only makes about 150ftlbs. However, a RB26DETT doesn't have a front engine mount either...
