I'm trying to adjust the clutch in my 96 gst, my chilton guide says to disconnect my clutch switch connector to get to the locknut. i'm lost there .
at the mitsu dealership the mechanic did it quick in like 3 minutes an i dont think he unhooked anything. im having trouble finding pictures of exatcky what im supposed to mess with.
basically my point of engagement is rather low, and it feels kinda squishy, not as firm as it used to be. i had a problem with my slave cylinder and a steel clutch hose thing, and it wasn't bled right so i had airbubbles in the system, and that caused my point of engagement to move around. the mechanic said that after adjusting the clutch it would feel squishy. why is that?
and can someone give me specific, like really noobified directions for adjust my point of engagement?
thanks
