Does the extra think flange on the Exhaust Manifold give enough clearance for a big Compressor housing to clear the water pipe??

I'm debating between this manifold or the Spacer from Hahn. Thanks

Yes, that's the reason for the extra thick flange, and the reason why I'm getting one to allow for painless upgrading in the future.

With a bulls eye power turbine housing, no clearance problem even with the T04E cover. :thumb:

First off, I would just like to say the SBR manifold is the nicest manifold I ever seen in my life. I didnt even get it ported from them and it was already matched to the head/manifold gasket, which are big holes!

The flange is really thick, It only left me a little clearence for the bolts to actually fit on the studs. They all look like they're loose but they're not. I have the Bullseye-power to4b with no clearence issues at all.

Very nice piece of work though :D

Thanks, I appreciate your Input.

A non ported SBR manifold is bigger than any ported 2g or evo manifold I've ever seen. They also CNC machine the gasket to the manifold for a perfect fit. I'm running a PTE 50 trim and it clears the TO4E cover just fine. Its not really even close to the water pipe. Unless you wanted to go external I can't see a reason to buy anything else.

yea mines on the way and, from what i hear i'm in for a great part. I'm stoked

I also have the manifold, however the install didn't go to easy for me. Im running a fp3055 which has the 4 bolt flange for the tial 40mm gate. The #1 runner of the manifold hangs below the turbo to manifold flange unlike the ported 2g one i was running. With it hanging lower the manifold hit the wastgate. I had to get a spacer made from stainless so it would clear. Not a big deal, and Mike Huml was very good about it and offered to do an exchange. The manifold as stated before is very nice.

just looking at the pictures it's hard to belive it is cast. Looks like it was cut out with a laser.
