Ok - If ya dont read the Engine Performance or General Tech and didnt see....My car is broke, again..
Anyways - My car broke after I had quit my last summer job. The turbo blew, I put my last 200 into a 14b...
Well the car never ran right after the Turbo blew, and eventually something bad happened Im not POSITIVE on what broke exactly, all i remember is that there was a clicking sound from what sounded like the left from of the engine bay while i was driving the car, next thing I know the car stalls and dies out, I put it in neutral and start it up again on the road, when the car turns over I HAVE A KNOCK! AAAH! I shut the car off and its been stored ever since.......
Basically from what I am being told, Just rebuild the whole engine. Since no one seems to be able to tell exactly what is wrong with the car without taking it apart, I have been told to just rebuild the engine.

Now since im on a budget.......what is the cheapest way to do this? I have been thinking about trying to rebuild the 7bolt myself. How hard is it and what kind of tools are needed? If I do it myself it SHOULD run me around 600 yes?
Also....
If anyone has gotten a 7bolt rebuilt by a shop instead of DIY, can you enlighten me on how much it cost you and how long the car was in the shop???
